Margot's Recipes
Welcome to my kitchen column!
My name is Margot Fiaccavento and I am a fourth generation Roman, in fact my parents, my grandparents and my great-grandparents were roman too and this is a very rare thing to find in such a cosmopolitan city. Anyway the important thing, beyond is that I’m a passionate, amateur cook, that is to say, I’ve been stealing recipes and smells in other people’s kitchens for years.
In this column you will find recipes from my friends, my family and even a few of my own. In respect of the authors rights and furthermore, I will provide you information about where to buy the ingredients and culinary curiosities that most foreigners don’t know.
Whether surfing on the Net or reading magazines it is already possible to find recipes from all over the world, I will try to offer you something more.….
In fact in the “curiosities” you could find the recipes handed down oral by word of mouth which links the recipes to daily living, the places where it’s possible to find the ingredients or the alternative substitutes. All the experience I have acquired in these last 30 years of reading and listening to tales, curiosities, and even the mistakes that have nourished my great passion: cooking!
