La mostra delle mostre ha aperto il 18 gennaio 2018 all’istituto Giapponese a Roma, fino al 24 marzo 2018. Potete ammirare una mostra davvero completa di oggetti, foto, lampade e corredi importanti che fanno parte dello scambio culturale e istituzionale italo-giapponese degli ultimi 50 anni. E’ interessante conoscere affondo attraverso questa mostra uno spaccato significativo del Giappone con la sua Calligrafia, le lampade, il buddhismo, fotografie di statue storiche, i suoi bellissimi giardini zen, i suoi siti Patrominio Unesco, le foto della leggendaria Iwakura, foto dei riti giapponesi e il rarissimo Hyakumanto!

Entrando in mostra troviamo panelli descrivi molto interessanti su:

La Calligrafia Giapponese Contemporanea l’Arte del segno con splendidi segni di grandi maestri contemporanei.

Le Lampade originali Akari del 51 di Isamu Noguchi (1904–1988): era uno degli scultori più importanti e acclamati dalla critica del XX secolo. Attraverso una vita di sperimentazione artistica, ha creato sculture, giardini, mobili e progetti di illuminazione, ceramiche, architettura e scenografie. Il suo lavoro al tempo stesso sottile e audace, tradizionale e moderno. Qui presenti le sue bellissime creazioni in lampade di carta di riso dell’epoca, vere e proprie sculture.

Hyakumanto, un milione di pagode lignee del VIII secolo: un presunto originale Hyakumanto Darani (百万塔陀羅尼), una famosa commissione su larga scala per la stampa su legno, il più antico uso registrato della stampa su legno in Giappone, anche se probabilmente non è il primo. I libri di Woodblock dai templi buddisti cinesi sono stati i primi visti in Giappone. Nel 764, l’Imperatrice Shotoku commissiona a degli artisti un milione di piccole pagode di legno ciascuna contenente un piccolo rotolo di carta stampata (tipicamente 6 x 45 cm) stampato con un testo buddista, il Vimalasuddhaprabhasa mahadharani sutra. La stampa fu completata nel 770, la tecnologia di stampa non divenne molto diffusa a seguire la produzione e la distribuzione dei libri continuarono a dipendere pesantemente dai manoscritti copiati a mano. Queste piccole pagode di legno sono state distribuite ai templi in tutto il paese come ringraziamento per la soppressione della ribellione Emi in quell’anno. Questi sono i primi esempi di stampa su legno noti o documentati dal Giappone.

Fotografie dei Patrimoni Unesco in Giappone di Kazuyoshi Miyoshi: opere del fotografo Miyoshi, che raffigurano splendidamente le aree naturali più belle del Giappone, i templi, i castelli, i santuari, i villaggi, i palazzi, i siti archeologici, tutti espressione di una cultura che, pur diversa da quella occidentale, la integra e la completa. Tesori, dunque, anche nostri. Kazuyoshi Miyoshi nasce nella prefettura di Tokushima nel 1958. Ancora giovanissimo, intraprende viaggi che lo portano nei luoghi più belli del mondo per realizzare reportage fotografici che gli guadagneranno, nel 1985, il prestigioso premio “Rimura Thei” per la raccolta fotografica “Rakuen” (Paradisi), diventando così il più giovane artista insignito di tale onorificenza. Molte opere di Miyoshi fanno parte di importanti collezioni permanenti.

Troviamo inoltre fotografie sui festival Giapponesi mito e rito; fotografie sul Giardino Giapponese di particolare armonie estetiche; e fotografie sulla raffinata statuaria dei pantheon Buddhisti; la missione Diplomatica Iwakura 1871-73 testimonianza dei protagonisti dell’epoca; ed infine Aquiloni e trottole prevenienti dall’intero territorio nazionale, con le varianti locali e richiami alle stagioni.
