51st Costano Porchetta Festival, taking place from August 21st to 30th, 2026, in Costano, a hamlet of Bastia Umbra/Assisi (Perugia), and then I’ll spend a few days in the Conero Riviera — Numana and Sirolo, the Pearls of the Adriatic.

The event features food stalls serving the famous local porchetta, an aperitivo area open from 6:00 PM, live music and spectacular dance orchestras.

Program and Activities

Food:
Traditional handmade porchetta, homemade gnocchi, arvoltoli, tripe, and typical Umbrian dishes.

Entertainment:
Dancing and live concerts with orchestras every evening, plus special events such as a 90s-themed night.

Festival Opening Hours

Throughout the 51st Costano Porchetta Festival, the aperitivo area will be open every day from 6:00 PM.

A good drink, a sharing platter, the irresistible aroma of porchetta and the unique atmosphere of the festival: the perfect way to start the evening and enjoy one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer together.

HOW TO GET THERE

Costano, a hamlet of Bastia Umbra
Costano is a small village nestled in the enchanting Umbrian landscape, where nature and tradition intertwine. It lies in the green plains of Assisi, not far from the left bank of the Chiascio River, 15 km from Perugia, the regional capital, 8 km from Assisi, 4 km from Santa Maria degli Angeli, and 4 km from Bastia Umbra, the municipality to which it belongs.
The village has a population of around 1,000 inhabitants and stands at an average altitude of 190 metres above sea level.

BY CAR

A1 Motorway – Autostrada del Sole, Florence–Rome

A1 – From the north:
Take the Valdichiana exit, then continue towards Perugia–Cesena, following signs for Assisi, and take the Bastia Umbra Sud exit.

A1 – From the south:
Take the Orte exit, then follow the Flaminia road towards Terni – Spoleto – Foligno, and take the Bastia Umbra Sud exit.

A14 Adriatic Motorway

A14 – From the north:
Take the Cesena Nord exit, then the E45 Cesena–Orte highway towards Foligno–Assisi, and exit at Bastia Umbra Sud.

A14 – From the south:
Take the Civitanova Marche exit, then follow directions towards Foligno–Assisi and exit at Bastia Umbra Sud.
