ROMA VEGAN FESTIVAL @ Città dell’Altra Economia

1 May @ 10:30 - 3 May @ 16:00 UTC+1
FREE - GRATIS

From May 1 to 3, 2026, the Città dell’Altra Economia in Rome will host the Roma Vegan Festival, an event dedicated to those who believe that everyday choices can help build a more ethical, sustainable, and conscious future.

The Festival is designed as a space for meeting and inspiration, where respect, creativity, and responsibility take shape through real experiences. It is a valuable opportunity for companies and associations in the sector to gain visibility, create connections, and develop new synergies. For the public, it offers a concrete way to support a growing supply chain that still struggles to receive the same level of support granted to large-scale distribution.

The market will be one of the central features of the event, with over 100 green artisans from across Italy. Their creations will tell stories of sustainability, innovation, and ethics, shaping a journey defined by both beauty and awareness.

Food will also play a key role, with 10 food corners dedicated to plant-based cuisine. The street food area will feature chef Irene Volpe, finalist of the tenth edition of MasterChef Italy, who has built her identity around plant-based cooking, combining technique, seasonality, and ethical values. She will also contribute to the selection of food vendors and participating businesses.

The program will also include talks, debates, and musical moments, offering opportunities to explore themes related to animal ethics, environmental sustainability, and new models of conscious consumption.

The Roma Vegan Festival will also be a solidarity-driven event: all proceeds from donations will be entirely allocated to organizations committed to the protection and rescue of animals. Among them are Rifugio HOPE, active since 2002 and now home to over 350 animals rescued from exploitation, and Capra Libera Tutti, a sanctuary that shelters more than 500 animals and stands as a symbol of renewal and community. The association WAFE – World Animal Free on Earth will also be present, engaged internationally in promoting animal rights.

Promoted by the association Anima Verde, the event represents a reference point for those who embrace the values of environmental protection, well-being, solidarity, and respect for all forms of life.
