In concert in Rome Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Teatro Quirinetta,
the female voice of Baustelle, waiting for their new album planned for 2016, made his debut as a soloist with MARIE – an EP of seven songs, 4 unpublished, two cover songs and an instrumental.
“This tour is the natural continuation of a process that began with the release of the EP “Marie” – explains Rachel – born to a need for artistic and personal. The desire to get involved, to bring out a side of me that I had always kept hidden.
All this happened spontaneously, as was spontaneous seek inspiration and encouragement from those 70s that continue to fascinate me so much more.”
On stage with her to recreate that atmosphere and that world musicians who participated in the recording of the album: Giovanni Ferrario (who is also artistic producer of the disc) and Marco Carusino on guitars, David Fronterrè on bass. The group joins the drummer Alessandro Deidda.
Valeria Tomasulo è nata a Melfi nel 1983 in provincia di Potenza (Basilicata).
Valeria si è laureata in lingue alla triennale di Napoli, ha poi concluso gli studi in Lettere e filosofia all’università La Sapienza di Roma con specializzazione in teatro e cinema.
Vive a Roma ormai da circa 10 anni. Dopo 3 anni circa di apprendistato-lavoro in teatro, svolge oggi la professione di fotografa e video maker.
