In programmazione al Teatro Tor di Nona dal 7 al 12 marzo 2017, “Mumble Mumble …. ovvero confessioni di un orfano d’arte” è il racconto di tre momenti ‘indimenticabili’ della vita del protagonista: il funerale del padre Luciano, quello del Mattatore Vittorio Gassman, ed un’ultima ‘tragicomica’ storia di vita.

Emozionante, penetrante, coinvolgente ed allo stesso tempo ironico e dissacrante, Emanuele Salce con la sua notevole interpretazione si apre a tal punto agli spettatori fino a gettarsi metaforicamente tra le braccia della platea.

E senza paura di cadere!!!

Sei anni di applausi e riconoscimenti di critica non gli bastano. Se ne merita ancora. Ed il pubblico è con lui. Attore di talento, Emanuele ha superato brillantemente l’improponibile confronto con cotanti genitori.

Nel primo racconto si narra il giorno del funerale di suo padre Luciano, quando aveva poco più di vent’anni e, reduce da una nottata di eccessi etilici, si trovò a dover gestire da solo l’accadimento affrontando, nelle condizioni peggiori, una realtà a lui sconosciuta ed assai scomoda fra para-parenti a caccia di lascito, addetti alle onoranze funebri che lo inseguivano con cataloghi di bare e la ragazza per cui spasimava che non gli si concedeva.

Nel secondo, si rivive il giorno della scomparsa di Vittorio Gassman, marito di sua madre, episodio vissuto da trentenne più lucido e consapevole, in cui si assiste ad un vero e proprio Carnevale del sacro e del profano, fra autorità politiche improbabili e presenzialisti d’ogni risma, dolori veri e presunti, per concludere il tutto con la semifinale degli Europei del 2000 Olanda – Italia con scene da stadio.

Nel terzo (metaforicamente) il suo: vissuto attraverso l’incontro con una bionda australiana e una défaillance occorsagli in un museo di Sydney, con un finale in crescendo, fino a giungere ad una vera e propria liberazione non solo simbolica.

A fare da contraltare in scena lo spettatore-regista Paolo Giommarelli, ora complice, ora provocatore della confessione, passando con candida disinvoltura da Achille Campanile a Petrarca fino ad un para-trattato di gastroenterologia.

Il racconto conclusivo dello spettacolo, scritto insieme ad Andrea Pergolari, narra dell’incontro tra il protagonista e una bionda australiana, seguito da un’imbarazzante defaillance che ha catturato l’attenzione di Sandro Veronesi che, nel suo ultimo romanzo “Terre rare” scrive: “La storia narrata nel capitolo dieci della prima parte non è farina del sacco dell’autore, è una cover dello strepitoso monologo autobiografico di Emanuele Salce contenuto nel suo spettacolo intitolato Mumble mumble – ovvero confessioni di un orfano d’arte (di E. Salce e A. Pergolari). Oltre al ringraziamento per il permesso di rielaborarla, l’autore gli rivolge tutta la propria ammirazione”.
