oma got a new way to pay for the ticket and subscription Atac: BIPiù is a new service that allows you to purchase and validate travel documents with the smartphone. With the new system, in addition to other traditional payment methods, the integrated time ticket 100 minutes (BIT) and the Personal Monthly subscription can be purchased through the App on your phone, at no additional cost.
“We are working – said the mayor of Rome – to bring our public transport company of high quality standards. Now, in fact, citizens and tourists can take a bus at the last minute, without having to worry about finding a first retailer open tickets. This new app, in short, is an instrument of innovation and an added incentive to fight against tax evasion tariff “.
BIPiù can be used for all services of the circuit Metrebus: bus, tram and trolley bus Atac, transport and COTRAL Roma TPL, railways Trenitalia. By subway service for now it is used on lines A, B, B1, Rome-Lido railway and the railway station Flaminio Roma-Viterbo. Soon the service will be active also on the whole is the Roma-Viterbo line C.
To buy with BIPiù just download the App Free MyCicero (soon also other Apps by other operators), on www.atac.roma.it/bipiu or from the store’s own smartphone (IOS and Android), and proceed to ‘ purchase of tickets.
The BIT after purchase must be activated via the App before getting on bus, tram or trolleybus. The electronic ticket will be valid for one hundred minutes of activation. The ticket will be valid for one ride, even over multiple lines without exceeding the turnstiles.
It does not need any activation instead for those who purchase a monthly subscription with BIPiù personal emitted directly with the dates of commencement and expiration.

BIPiù is a free service at no extra charge: you pay only the cost of the BIT (1.50 euro) or monthly subscription (for 35 Euros).
