Una dieta crudista povera di grassi non può funzionare diversamente, poiché le verdure contengono poche calorie e le noci o i semi hanno in media il 75% di grassi.

L’obiettivo è arrivare a mangiare anche l’80% sul totale delle calorie sotto forma di carboidrati (cioè frutta, per i crudisti) e non più del 10% sotto forma di proteine e di grassi.

Consumare più del 10% di calorie da fonti proteiche porta a bassi livelli di energia, acidosi e tossiemia, rivelandosi nel tempo una ricetta per l’artrite, il cancro e tanti altri problemi. Più del 10% di calorie provenienti da fonti grasse, invece, porta al diabete e ad altre malattie non desiderabili.

In media, con la dieta mediterranea tradizionale, l’italiano assume il 55% delle proprie calorie dai carboidrati (pane, pasta, ecc.), il 15% dalle proteine e il 30% dai grassi! Oltre tre volte il limite raccomandato da una dieta crudista povera di grassi.

Ogni animale in natura è stato predisposto a mangiare un determinato cibo, e anche noi esseri umani siamo predisposti a nutrirci con dei cibi specifici. Questi cibi sono principalmente la frutta, il cibo più saporito del pianeta, e le foglie verdi. Una dieta crudista povera di grassi è basata sul consumo di frutta e di minime quantità di altre verdure, noci e semi. Nessun prodotto di origine animale. Nessun prodotto industriale. Nessun cibo cotto.

Contare le calorie, all’inizio del tuo viaggio crudista, è estremamente utile per aiutarti a capire qual è il tuo fabbisogno calorico. Aggiungi alla lista tutto ciò che mangi e cerca di imparare di quante calorie hai bisogno per sentirti bene e sazio ogni giorno, ma poi lascia perdere i conti!

Mangiare sano non è matematica. E’ imparare a sentirsi bene e ad essere felici, in armonia con gli altri esseri senzienti del pianeta e avendo cura dell’ambiente. Bere frullati verdi può aiutarti a mantenere lo stile di vita crudista, evitando di mangiare quintali d’insalata ogni sera. Puoi prepararne uno semplicemente frullando diverse banane e una grossa manciata di foglie verdi, con un po’ d’acqua.

Tutte le specie animali fanno dei mono-pasti, un singolo cibo a pasto; non è affatto necessario integrare ogni singolo nutriente ogni volta che si mangia!

Cibi ad alto contenuto calorico come le banane (in media 100 calorie l’una) ci possono aiutare a far funzionare questo stile di vita. La maggior parte delle popolazioni asiatiche mangiano riso ad ogni pasto, non c’è nulla di male quindi a mangiare anche 10 banane a pranzo.

Seguire una dieta crudista a basso contenuto di grassi può aiutare le persone a prevenire e curare molti problemi di salute, come l’obesità, il diabete, le malattie cardiache e anche il cancro. Il motivo è che questa dieta, naturale per l’essere umano, mette il corpo fisico nella condizione ottimale per la propria guarigione.
