Reno di Leggiuno – Lago Maggiore

Promuovere il Lago Maggiore e le sue Valli come destinazione turistica ideale anche per un turismo attivo, questo l’obiettivo del Fam Trip promosso dalla Camera di Commercio Monte Rosa Laghi Alto Piemonte che ha portato 12 operatori Nord Europei alla scoperta delle meraviglie di questo territorio transfrontaliero compreso tra Lombardia, Piemonte e Svizzera.
Realizzato nell’ambito del progetto AMALAKE e co-finanziato dal Programma Interreg, il tour ha visto la partecipazione di 10 operatori turistici e 2 giornalisti, provenienti prevalentemente da Francia, Germania, Svezia, Finlandia e Italia.

Lago d’Orta

Sebbene fortemente orientato a promuovere  il turismo attivo, il viaggio è stato una full immersion emozionante che ha portato gli operatori a scoprire come arte, cultura, natura, eno-gastronomia e avventura e si possano fondere armonicamente e trovare la loro sintesi in itinerari sorprendenti capaci di regalare esperienze uniche.
Il programma di viaggio, ben costruito e articolato, ha visto un susseguirsi di escursioni, degustazioni, arrampicate, lanci e scalate, per cogliere appieno il fascino e le suggestioni dei tanti luoghi affascinanti che circondano il Lago Maggiore.

Alpe Devero

La prima tappa è stata una bellissima escursione sull’Alpe Devero attraversando la Val Formazza e la Val D’Ossola con un trekking a oltre 1700 metri d’altezza, tra paesaggi incantati, mucche al pascolo, chalet di montagna, ruscelli, laghetti e la cascata del Toce.

Pranzo in una baita dei primi del novecento situata a Beceno con degustazione di salumi e formaggi tra cui Bettelmatt, Gorgonzola Dop, lardo alle erbe di Macugnaga, bresaola di manzo e prosciutto della Val Vigezzo, e poi polenta con funghi, formaggi salsicce, carni in umido e per finire trionfi di crostate e strudel.
In serata rientro a Stresa e cena di gala con gli operatori della Camera di Commercio e del Distretto Turistico dei Laghi negli splendidi saloni del Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées in un’atmosfera sontuosa ed elegante dove è andato in scena il meglio dell’alta cucina e vini del territorio.

Giardini di Palazzo Borromeo, Isola Bella – Lago Maggiore

Il secondo giorno, esperienza di arrampicata e tiro con l’arco e poi visita guidata all’Isola Bella e a Palazzo Borromeo. Ci sono voluti ben 400 anni, racconta la guida turistica, per trasformare l’Isola Bella da scoglio di pescatori a luogo d’incanto e residenza nobiliare di primissimo livello, grazie all’impegno di centinaia di architetti, ingegneri, stuccatori, pittori ed ebanisti. Il risultato è a dir poco spettacolare: affreschi, stucchi, sculture, collezioni di capolavori e alcune copie di grandi maestri del calibro di Raffaello, Correggio, Tiziano, Guido Reni racchiuse nella Galleria  Berthier e poi ancora  la magnificenza della Sala del Trono, della Sala delle Regine, il Salone degli Arazzi e per finire le Grotte e il giardino barocco ornato con statue, obelischi e scalinate.

Lago d’Orta – veduta Orta San Giulio

Dopo il pranzo a base di pesce di lago servito in tutte le sue diverse declinazioni al Ristorante Elvezia, trasferimento ad Omegna sul Lago d’Orta dove i più intrepidi hanno provato l’emozionante avventura della ZIPline, un salto di 60 metri sospesi su un cavo d’acciaio che corre per 500 metri sopra il lago. Dopo aver vissuto il brivido del lancio e la vista dall’alto del Lago d’Orta, visita guidata a Orta San Giulio, borgo romantico dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato, insignito della bandiera arancione del Touring Club Italiano.

Isola di San Giulio – Lago d’Orta

Da lì con una barca si raggiunge l’isola di San Giulio per scoprire i suoi tesori tra cui la basilica di San Giulio e il monastero Mater Ecclesiae, abbazia benedettina femminile di clausura. Dopo la splendida visita, cena presso il ristorante Luci sul lago con aperitivo al tramonto nella terrazza sul lago e cena con menù a base di specialità locali di carne (soprattutto bolliti) e ricette a base di pesce lago.

Stresa

Il terzo giorno trasferimento da Stresa a Novara con visita guidata alla città: dal Castello al Duomo (ovvero la Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta), dalla sede della Borsa del riso a Palazzo Orelli al Broletto e per finire la Basilica di San Gaudenzio simbolo della città. E proprio lì, un’altra avventura attende il gruppo: l’ascesa con imbragatura alla Cupola di San Gaudenzio la cui guglia che svetta a 121 metri di altezza consente di ammirare uno splendido panorama sulla città, sul Monte Rosa e l’arco alpino fino ai grattacieli di Milano.
La salita alla cupola è accompagnata permette di scoprire come San Gaudenzio rappresenti uno dei più arditi edifici in muratura del mondo, massima espressione del genio di Alessandro Antonelli ancor più noto per la Mole di Torino che porta il suo nome.
Dopo l’emozionante scalata, pranzo nel centro storico della città al Cannavacciuolo Cafè&Bistrot con un menù degustazione a cura dello Chef Vincenzo Manicone.
Nel pomeriggio visita all’azienda vitivinicola “Enrico Crola” a Mezzomerico con assaggio di vini accompagnati da salumi, formaggi, verdure grigliate e fritti.
In serata arrivo a Castello dal Pozzo, resort a 5 stelle immerso in una natura lussureggiante sulle colline di Oleggio Castello, dove si viene catapultati in un’atmosfera retrò.

Dan Garden Lounge – Ristorante del Resort Castello Dal Pozzo

Cena degustazione al Dan Garden Lounge immerso tra gli alberi maestosi del parco secolare del resort e ultimo brindisi alla bellissima esperienza vissuta.
Difficile condensare in poche righe la ricchezza di emozioni offerte dal tour. E’ stato un continuum di scoperte e avventure, un’esperienza che ha messo in gioco tutti i sensi.
Un viaggio che lascia la voglia di tornare, di approfondire, di scoprire e sperimentare nuovi itinerari per immergersi nell’infinita varietà di paesaggi e bellezze che questo territorio è capace di regalare.
Un fam trip organizzato alla perfezione che ha permesso ai partecipanti di cogliere lo spirito del luogo e li ha convinti a promuovere a pieni voti questa meta turistica in grado di sedurre e soddisfare anche il viaggiatore più esigente.
