Cinque weekend dedicati all’Olio Extravergine d’Oliva, ai prodotti agroalimentari di qualità, nei borghi  medievali dell’Umbria.

Anche quest’anno in Umbria torna Frantoi Aperti, l’iniziativa dedicata alla valorizzazione dell’Olio extravergine di oliva DOP Umbria e del turismo in campagna.
Il via per la XVII edizione, che coinvolgerà veri intenditori del buon vivere e del buon mangiare per 5 fine settimana consecutivi, sarà il 1° Novembre. Tanti i Borghi Medievali dell’Umbria, le loro piazze, i loro palazzi, i teatri, gli uliveti, i frantoi, le aziende agricole, gli agriturismi, le trattorie ancora una volta le attrattive di questo evento che ha come indiscusso protagonista l’Olio extravergine di Oliva Dop Umbria delle 5 prestigiose zone dell’Umbria (Colli del Trasimeno, dei Colli Orvietani, Colli Amerini, dei Colli di Assisi e di Spoleto e dei DOP Colli Martani) ed i prodotti agroalimentari di qualità.
Tante le iniziative che valorizzeranno l’Olio Extravergine di Oliva e che accenderanno l’attenzione sui borghi medievali ad alta vocazione olivicola con un calendario di attività dedicate a degustazioni e non solo. Sono infatti in programma visite guidate gratuite alle città aderenti, concerti e Giochi tradizionali nelle piazze per Bambini, scuole di cucina, partecipazione alla raccolta delle olive e poi ancora fattorie didattiche, trekking tra gli ulivi, concerti di musica popolare, serate di degus-tango in luoghi speciali (degustazione di olio, vino ed eccezionali prodotti dell’ Umbria a suon di Tango), servizio di navette gratuite per i frantoi e la tradizionale rievocazione della Frasca e bonfinita.
Ma Frantoi Aperti è anche sinonimo di apertura di luoghi speciali: durante l’intera manifestazione si propongono percorsi tematici legati alla gastronomia, agli ulivi secolari, ai Teatri, ai castelli medievali, alle chiesette romaniche, palazzi.
Questa sarà la meta ricercata per vivere un week end d’autunno assolutamente unico e incentrato sulle antiche tradizioni contadine, sulla identità dell’ Umbria: non mancheranno i fuochi dei focolari di campagna a riscaldare l’ambiente ed il suono dello scricchiolio del pane caldo e fragrante, pronto ad accogliere la prima spremitura di olio appena franto.
