Come nasce questa passione che diventa Arte…vedo che tiri fuori l’anima dall’uomo…quanta passione! E come sono interessanti i tuoi lavori, una visione speciale…

Opere perfette che saranno presto presentate in Italia, a Roma… Le attendiamo! “I tuoi lavori- opere su tela, su carta, installazioni, sculture e oggetti di design – esaltano l’importanza del movimento, dell’armonia delle linee e dei colori. Un dinamismo che l’artista esprime nella sua costante indagine sull’uomo, sugli stati d’animo, sulla relazione con il mondo e con la natura, e che restituisce tramite i suoi tipici profili, le vivaci sagome di corpi, le forme stilizzate composte da elementi geometrici che si ripetono e si intrecciano in fitte composizioni. Non vi è dubbio alcuno circa la magia, l’allegria e la dolcezza poetica, quasi sognante dell’immagine. Utilizza spesso una gamma di cromaticità base o il bianco e nero, tratti ritmici semplici nella forma, tecniche miste ricche di melodie e romanticismi: piccole e grandi tele, acrilici su tela, carte, sculture. L’elemento ripetitivo voluto, quasi regolare e mai scontato, porta ad una certa riflessione ma con gran leggerezza, ed è pieno di elaborazioni mistico-filosofiche. Un approccio surrealista immaginario che non manca di descrivere i sentimenti più reconditi della psiche umana in modo leggero ma di forte impatto visivo ed emozionale”.

Il tuo percorso artistico ti ha portato ad elaborare uno stile personale, ma continui anche a sperimentare tecniche, materiali, e nuovi linguaggi? L’arte e la creatività sono speciali mezzi per donare qualcosa agli altri nel percorso della vita…manifesto la mia energia attraverso le mie opere. L’arte è la mia vita, la mia voce. Amo sperimentare e tenere la mente aggiornata sui” nuovi linguaggi”.

Cosa stai cercando? Non sto cercando nulla in particolare…o forse sto cercando tutto… vivo…intensamente, con curiosità, a contatto con gli altri per arricchirmi e crescere.

Cosa ne pensi dell’uso delle tecnologie moderne utilizzate nel campo artistico? E’ assolutamente stimolante, divertente mettersi in gioco e provare ” cose ” nuove. Ultimamente adoro le Istallazioni…mi danno molta soddisfazione…Ognuno deve utilizzare gli strumenti necessari per potersi esprimere al meglio.

Un artista vivente al quale ti ispiri? o che particolarmente ammiri? Ci sono tanti artisti bravi … io francamente non mi ispiro a nessuno in particolare però ne ammiro molti, ammiro la forza delle loro opere e della loro personalità. Osservo, studio.

Ritornando ai tuoi lavori, mai fine a se stessi, mostrano una certa disinvoltura nell’impiego di diverse tecniche, come la pittura, il design, la grafica, le istallazioni che insieme concorrono al rivelarsi dell’immagine e della mente umana. Che ruolo hanno queste tecniche per te? Pittura, design, grafica, istallazioni sono tutti mezzi per raccontare qualcosa……li trovo tutti interessanti. Nel progetto Illuminazioni, edito da Skira e curato da Fortunato D’Amico, mi sono divertita a rappresentare 999 profili umani (autoritratti interiori) proprio utilizzando diverse tecniche. Per alcuni ho avuto bisogno dello slancio della pittura mentre per altri è stata la precisione della grafica a cui ho mirato.

Quanta importanza dai alla manualità e quanta all’idea che si cela dietro all’atto nel realizzare l’opera? Il progetto e l’idea sono importantissimi mi fanno stare bene, mi caricano di vitalità

Spiegaci come realizzi una tua opera? E I tuoi ultimi lavori? Non realizzo mai nulla senza un progetto preciso, a parte gli sfondi. La manualità è liberatoria, un ritorno sempre a quando ero bambina e non sapevo star lontana dalle matite colorate e i cartoncini (anche quelli dei biscotti o altre confezioni) e costruivo teatrini o pupazzetti con cui poi giocavo. Quando mi trovo davanti alla tela da dipingere sono rilassata perché ho già in mente cosa fare però non mi spavento se poi le cose prendono una piega diversa…a volte un imprevisto nella realizzazione è il processo naturale da seguire. La deviazione porta verso altri percorsi che possono rivelarsi migliori. La flessibilità è essenziale. Seguo la mia idea, ma mi lascio andare.

Lo spazio fisico ed espositivo per te è determinante o no? Può uno spazio circostante influenzare l’opera e la sua interpretazione? Lo spazio espositivo è uno stimolo ulteriore. Allestire una mostra è creare un’altra opera…bisogna far dialogare i lavori con l’ambiente altrimenti risulta tutto ” scollato ” asettico. Questa fase è molto importante per me…la vivo sempre come parte dell’opera, un forte gesto creativo.

Cosa vorresti trasmettere al pubblico attraverso le tue opere? A tutti vorrei trasmettere riflessione, leggerezza, sorriso.

Progetti futuri e sogni? Progetti e sogni…sempre e tanti. Primo fra tutti proseguire e ampliare Illuminazioni, di cui ti parlavo prima, coinvolgendo gli altri.

Per terminare lo chiedo sempre a gli artisti che incontro…Laura fatti una domanda che nessuno ti ha mai chiesto (e che tanto avresti voluto sentirti domandare) e risponditi….Sei felice Laura? Si sono felice. La felicità parte dal mio respiro sereno e va leggera e decisa nel mondo, verso gli altri. Sono felice perché+ posso esprimere me stessa e ogni giorno ringrazio.
