Il mito e il sogno” è il titolo della 5a edizione di Ostia Antica Festival 2020. Da luglio a settembre in cartellone spettacoli di musica, teatro e danza fra tradizione e innovazione, organizzati dal consorzio di imprese ‘Antico Teatro Romano’ in collaborazione con il Parco Archeologico di Ostia Antica.

A Battisti e Mogol è stata dedicata la seconda delle 23 serate previste. Un concerto che ha celebrato un pezzo di storia della canzone italiana e ha attratto centinaia di spettatori sulle suggestive scalinate del Teatro romano, cuore degli scavi antichi fra i più famosi al mondo per la loro integrità e bellezza.

Canto libero non è stato un semplice concerto ma uno spettacolo, omaggio alla storica coppia degli anni 60-70. Sul palco, un ensemble di 10 musicisti affiatati e già rodati nel corso di lunghe carriere, che ha ricevuto anche l’approvazione di Mogol. Canto Libero, infatti, rilegge gli originali mantenendo una certa aderenza ma cercando di non risultare una copia. Ha aggiunto invece la propria personalità e sensibilità musicale, con nuovi arrangiamenti, facendo emergere anche tutta l’anima blues e rock che questo artista aveva molto forte dentro di sé.

Si alterneranno poi fino al 19 settembre serate con la musica di De Andrè e i Queen, la comicità di Max Giusti e di Paola Minaccioni, la recitazione coinvolgente di Michela Murgia e di Stefano Massini, solo per citarne alcuni. 

CURIOSITA’

Oltre al piacere di godervi lo spettacolo, non potete davvero perdervi la cornice che ospita gli artisti in scena. Arrivate qualche minuto prima per ammirare il tramonto fra la vegetazione mediterranea e le rovine antiche degli scavi, che ancora una volta accolgono i visitatori in un’atmosfera magica, unica. Con un po’ di immaginazione, infatti, sembra quasi che le strade romane della prima fiorente colonia dell’Impero romano, anche più importante e vasta di Pompei, riprendano vita. Inoltre, quest’anno, per gli spettatori del Teatro, è prevista una speciale visita guidata al sito archeologico.
