Dal 7 al 11 dicembre 2016 si è svolto nella capitale il RomaFictionFest che quest’anno ha compiuto 10 anni. Questa decima edizione è stata concepita senza sfarzo e autocelebrazioni rituali, semplicemente si è assistito al meglio della fiction italiana e internazionale.

La sezione del Concorso aveva 10 titoli di serie tv internazionali e sopratutto inedite in Italia, provenienti da tutto il mondo,  dagli Stati Uniti all’Inghilterra, dalla Francia alla Svezia, dal Belgio alla Repubblica Ceca, dalla Polonia all’Australia, all’Italia.
A valutarle e premiarle è stata una giuria internazionale d’eccezione presieduta dal Premio Oscar Richard Dreyfuss.

I vincitori dei Premi Ufficiali e dei Premi Speciali

 La la decima edizione del RomaFictionFest si è chiusa ufficialmente domenica 11 dicembre 2016, con la premiazione in piazza Esedra presso il cinema The Space Moderno.
Si conferma il successo dell’iniziativa legata a una formula basata su titoli interessanti e di momenti di confronto con autori, attori e numerosi ospiti internazionali.

when-we-raiseIl programma degli eventi è stato realizzato da Giuseppe Piccioni con Gaia Tridente, Marco Spagnoli, Gianluca Giannelli, Fabia Bettini e Simone Raineri. Particolarmente apprezzati sono stati anche i titoli del Concorso Internazionale, provenienti da quindici Paesi, e del Fuori Concorso, con le anteprime mondiali di When We Rise e Madiba. Attesa anche per le produzioni della prossima stagione televisiva italiana, da In arte Nino a Immaturi – La serie.

masterclass-romafictionfest_richard-dreyfussAttraverso le masterclass il pubblico ha potuto conoscere i premi Oscar® Richard Dreyfuss e Dustin Lance Black, scambiare battute con uno dei più amati attori del nostro cinema, Marco Giallini e il cast della serie La mafia uccide solo d’estate; applaudire Annabel Scholey, la contessina de’ Bardi ne I Medici, e Charlie Weber con Bellamy Young, star delle opere firmate da Shonda Rhimes. Particolarmente interessante l’incontro con lo sceneggiatore Umberto Contarello, il “making of” della serie-capolavoro di Paolo Sorrentino, The Young Pope, e dialogare con gli autori delle fiction italiane.red_carpet_i_medici_romafictionfest2016

La sezione Kids & Teens ha coinvolto nel Festival i ragazzi e le loro famiglie, portando sul red carpet di Piazza della Repubblica molti beniamini del pubblico più giovane che si è divertito con i Cartoon Character, le performance live e i gadget delle serie più amate.
Infine, la sezione business, Doc&Factual Agora, ha organizzato il Concorso ProFormat, per promuovere il format originale italiano, sia per il mercato nazionale, che per quello internazionale.
