Roma_show-rumPer gli appassionati del Rum è un appuntamento imperdibile; la seconda edizione di ShowRum torna a Roma con oltre 300 etichette da tutto il mondo.
Si tratta dell’unica rassegna italiana dedicata al distillato tanto famoso, caratterizzata da degustazioni, cocktail competitions (una delle quali patrocinata dall’AIBES – Associazione Italiana Barman e Sostenitori)  e seminari che accompagneranno i partecipanti all’evento lungo un percorso conoscitivo ed emozionale.
Durante l’edizione 2013 inoltre era stato intrapreso il percorso per la valorizzazione del mercato del rum in Italia, che proseguirà anche quest’anno, promuovendo la tecnologia italiana nelle aree di produzione del rum attraverso il progetto “Innovation Made in Italy for Rum Industry”. Tale progetto coinvolge le aziende italiane leader nel settore le quali formeranno nel corso degli anni un pacchetto Made in Italy da proporre, durante la rassegna  ,ai produttori presenti.
Affinate il palato, durante le due giornate – venerdì 17 e sabato 18 ottobre 2014 presso il Salone delle Fontane si potranno degustare etichette di qualità – nazionali e internazionali – abbinate a cioccolato, caffè, cibo e sigari così da poterne esaltare il sapore. Inoltre sarà possibile partecipare a seminari e masterclass sul tema degustazione/innovazione (euro 25, 30, 40 – acquistabili in loco fino a esaurimento posti). Al termine del Festival, sabato 18 a partire dalle ore 22:30 avrà inizio “Rum on the Rock” in compagnia della musica e dei djs di Radio Rock!
ShowRum è curato da SDI eventi, società specializzata nell’organizzazione d i manifestazioni culturali che ha sviluppato il progetto in collaborazione con Leonardo Pinto, uno dei massimi esperti italiani di rum e Presidente del Festival.
