Ennio-Morricone_Roma_Direttore-OrchestraL’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, una delle più antiche istituzioni musicali al mondo, fondata dal Papa Sisto V nel 1585, ha organizzato dei concerti del maestro Ennio Morricone all’Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma. I concerti si svolgeranno nel mese di maggio 2016.

Ennio Morricone è appena rientrato a Roma dal Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles, dopo aver ritirato l’oscar 2016 per la colonna sonora del film The Hateful Eight.
Cinecitta_The-eighfull-eight_set_Photo-by_Igor-SchiaroliIl film western di Quentin Tarantino è stato girato in 70mm,  abbiamo avuto l’onore di ammirarlo nel pieno splendore della pellicola , nello studio Teatro 5 di Cinecittà dove è stato allestita una copia del set e dove è stato proiettato il film con la pellicola del formato originale. Il film ha i segni particolari di Tarantino tra i quali la musica tanto da esserne pilastro fondamentale sin dalle prime inquadrature.

Walk of Fame

Hollywood_Walk-of-FameEnnio Morricone, qualche giorno prima di ricevere l’Oscar, ha anche ricevuto la stella rosa con il nome dorato sulla Walk of Fame, a Hollywood, che con il numero 2574 brilla accanto a quella di Dizzy Gillespie e Kool & the Gang a pochi metri dal Dolby Theatre. Il riconoscimento gli è stato conferito dalla Camera di Commercio di Hollywood appena due giorni prima della cerimonia di premiazione degli Academy Awards.

Il maestro Ennio Morricone  è nato Roma il 10 novembre 1928 e ha iniziato i suoi studi musicali con  formazione da trombettista. E’ sicuramente uno dei  compositori, musicisti e direttori d’orchestra italiano più noti. Durante la sua carriera ha scritto le musiche di più di cinquecento tra film e serie tv, oltre a quelle di canzoni indimenticabili , tra le tante ricordiamo Se telefonando di Mina.

dalle notizie del sito internet dell’Accademia e dell’auditorium sembra proprio che i biglietti per il concerto siano tutti esauriti. Programma del concerto

Il programma proposto dall’accademia di Santa Cecilia all’Auditoriun Parco della Musica di Roma alterna i due aspetti principali dell’opera del compositore, da una parte la produzione destinata alle sale da concerto, informata ad uno stile compositivo più rigoroso e attento alle istanze della musica della nostra epoca, e dall’altra quella, notissima, della musica da film che è valsa al maestro la statuetta dorata dell’Oscar come premio ad una carriera segnata da grandi successi.
Alla musica da concerto appartiene Voci dal silenzio che denota l’impegno civile di Morricone essendo “dedicata a tutte le stragi della storia” mentre nel medley di musiche per il cinema possiamo ascoltare alcune delle più celebri e amate colonne sonore del compositore romano, oramai divenute un classico e componenti strutturali di moltissime indimenticabili pellicole firmate dai registi più noti del cinema del nostro tempo.
