Sabato 18 Maggio, ore 21, presso la Sala Sinopoli dell’Auditorium Parco della Musica diRoma, parte il tour internazionale di Cinzia Tedesco con ‘Mister Puccini In Jazz’, un progetto unico al mondo ed un successo discografico targato Sony.

Un ensemble orchestrale formato da musicisti di altissimo livello, affiancherà la Tedesco in un concerto che vedrà la vocalist proporre, in chiave moderna, alcune tra le più note Arie per Tenore e Soprano tratte dalle opere del maestro Giacomo Puccini, per un connubio emozionante tra Opera e Jazz. É la stessa artista a spiegarci l’origine di questo progetto: ‘Il mio Puccini in Jazz nasce dall’amore per queste melodie lasciate in eredità da una tradizione centenaria, che ho rivestito di sfumature e nuovi colori ritmici e melodici per avvicinarle ai giovani’.

Ad affascinare il pubblico con un groove grintoso e grande personalità musicale, Pino Jodice al pianoforte ed orchestrazioni degli archi, Luca Pirozzi al contrabbasso, Pietro Iodice alla batteria, affiancati dall’Orchestra Femminile del Mediterraneo fondata e diretta dal maestro Antonella De Angelis. Tra tango, mood latino, swing ed atmosfere che richiamano le tradizionali jazz ballad, Cinzia Tedesco travolge il pubblico con la sua vocalità eclettica e con una presenza scenica che la rende unica nel panorama del jazz italiano, e trova negli archi dell’OFM, diretti con piglio ed eleganza dalla De Angelis, un suono classico che abbraccia, riscalda i cuori ed emoziona.

Un incontro tra artiste nato nel segno della sperimentazione, dell’amore per la grande musica, ma anche del costante impegno nella promozione della figura femminile. Se da una parte Antonella De Angelis ha creato la OFM come spazio privilegiato in cui le musiciste condividono la musica, dando senso a termini come ‘Pace’ e ‘Multiculturalità’, dall’altra Cinzia Tedesco, nel suo ruolo di artista ambassador della rete #InclusioneDonna, porta le donne sul palco, dimostrando quanto il talento femminile sia in grado di creare ponti tra le culture più diverse, includendo ed accogliendo il bello e valorizzando le diversità.

Cinzia Tedesco: ‘Le donne di Puccini credono nell’amore come Bohème, lottano per la loro dignità come Tosca, vogliono vivere le passioni di Manon senza pudori e censure e purtroppo accade che si spengano con struggente drammaticità come Madama Butterfly. Donne vere, che amo.’

Mister Puccini In Jazz’ è l’esempio perfetto di come il jazz italiano abbia la forza di portare sé stesso alla ribalta, in un contesto internazionale, con originalità e senza tradire le proprie radici culturali e musicali più profonde. Con uno spettacolo nato per sorprendere il pubblico, nel 2024 Cinzia Tedescocalcherà i palchi di importanti Festival ed Istituti di Cultura di vari Paesi nel mondo, come Norvegia, Brasile e Romania. Ad ottobre lo show approderà a Washington in occasione del Premio Eccellenza Italiana, istituito dalla Fondazione E-Novation e conferito a Cinzia Tedesco per la sua attività artistica, che omaggia Puccini con un lavoro inedito e di grande valenza culturale.

 

Bio
Cinzia Tedesco, poliedrica artista pugliese, canta dall’età di otto anni, studia chitarra classica e approda al jazz dopo una lunga gavetta. Scoperta da Pippo Baudo, debutta con l’orchestra della RAI in prima serata su Rai Uno; ha all’attivo diverse produzioni discografiche, le più recenti targate Sony. Tv e radio sono per lei luoghi abituali, ma la sua vera passione è calcare i palchi di teatri e jazz festival, dove il suo talento vocale emerge e si affianca a quello dei jazzisti di altissimo livello con cui collabora. Artista, cantautrice, ideatrice di progetti musicali e soprattutto donna che non dimentica l’impegno sociale:  ambasciatrice del Centro Internazionale di Pace di Assisi, della Salvabebè-Salvamamme onlus, testimonial della Canovalandia onlus, Cinzia Tedesco è anche impegnata sul fronte della parità di genere ed ambasciatrice della rete #inclusioneDonna.
