Se hai appena iniziato un percorso crudista, o sei vegano e stai cercando di migliorare la tua alimentazione, andare a mangiare fuori può risultare spesso un problema.
Se inoltre hai esigenze particolari, ad esempio stai seguendo una dieta crudista a basso contenuto di grassi, la scelta sul menù si restringe a poche possibilità.
Che cosa puoi mangiare, dunque, per stare bene con i tuoi amici e allo stesso tempo minimizzare l’impatto della tua piccola indulgenza?
Per chi segue una dieta crudista, le insalate in Italia sono generalmente buone, con un sacco di verdure a foglia verde, come la rucola. Assicurati di chiedere il condimento a parte, in modo da evitare che vengano aggiunte abbondanti quantità di olio d’oliva. Spesso le insalate prevedono anche ingredienti di origine animale, come il tonno, la mozzarella o le uova sode, quindi se sei vegano puoi chiedere di non aggiungere questi ingredienti, e magari di includere una doppia dose di pomodori, verdure, mais o olive.
Per chi non è crudista al 100%, ma è comunque vegano, i risotti andrebbero evitati, dato che vengono solitamente preparati con burro e formaggio.
Gli gnocchi al pomodoro possono essere una buona scelta. A base di patate, vengono in genere conditi con una salsa di pomodoro leggera.
La pasta è un’opzione altrettanto valida.
Se vuoi una pizza, l’unica opzione vegana presente in tutti i menù è la marinara, con pomodoro, aglio e origano (ma puoi sempre chiedere di aggiungere altre verdure). Per una dieta povera di grassi, chiedi di non aggiungere olio. Altre opzioni sono le pizze vegetariane con formaggi leggeri come la feta o il caprino, ma la maggior parte dei ristoranti prevede in genere solo la mozzarella.
Queste sono le opzioni tendenzialmente più sane, perché povere di grassi.
insalata di frutta-ortaggiPur seguendo uno stile di vita prevalentemente crudista, una delle mie pietanze preferite al ristorante è un piatto di verdure cotte! Dato che in genere viene cosparso d’olio d’oliva, puoi chiedere – come sempre – di non aggiungerne.
Nei ristoranti italiani ci sono anche altri ottimi contorni, come i fagioli, i ceci e altri legumi tipici. Anche un minestrone, a base di fagioli e verdure fresche, può essere una buona scelta.
Personalmente, in un ristorante italiano mi è difficile evitare di accompagnare il pasto con un po’ di vino, e di concluderlo con un gelato come dessert. Sarebbe da evitare, tuttavia, trovo che ogni tanto non sia un grosso peccato, tenendo conto che solitamente le porzioni sono abbastanza contenute. Puoi anche chiedere se è disponibile una versione senza latte.
La frutta, infine, puoi trovarla in tutti i buoni ristoranti italiani. Puoi fartela servire assieme all’insalata all’inizio del pasto, se sei crudista o se semplicemente preferisci così.
