Quando si scrive una recensione di un film per bambini, ci si può chiedere se sia meglio scriverla dal punto di vista di un adulto, la cui presenza serve essenzialmente ad accompagnare il bambino e a sorvegliare l’esperienza e i contenuti, oppure se si debba vedere il film dal punto di vista del bambino interiore. Come genitore o persona che si prende cura di un bambino, è importante valutare il film per i temi, le immagini e il suono, la trama, i personaggi e il linguaggio. Sinceramente, dopo un’ora di film volevo evacuare tutti i bambini.

Si tratta fondamentalmente di un film d’animazione sulla Justice League che si concentra principalmente su Krypto, il cane di Superman, doppiato in italiano con la voce di Lillo, mentre Maccio Capatonda doppia Asso il Bat-Segugio. Indovinate un po’, su un potpourri di altri animali domestici con superpoteri. Come tutti i film di supereroi, i temi ruotano intorno al bene contro il male e nella maggior parte delle storie all’amicizia, in questo caso tra l’uomo e il suo cane. . Lois Lane e Sups si stavano baciando e questo ha fatto sì che Krypto si sentisse geloso e temesse di perdere il suo migliore amico, così Lois gli ha suggerito di prendere un amico dal rifugio per animali e qui inizia l’avventura. Successivamente vediamo Lex usare la kryptonite arancione per ottenere i superpoteri, ma questa kryptonite trova la strada per gli animali domestici.

Dopo la cattura di Superman e della Justice League, gli animali si uniscono con i loro nuovi superpoteri per salvarli da Lex Luthor alla LexCorp. L’antagonista degli animali domestici è Lulu, un porcellino d’India il cui obiettivo principale è distruggere Krypto, Superman e la Lega, vendicandosi di tutte le volte che hanno sventato Lex.

Una delle scene migliori è all’inizio, quando Krypto viene presentato al pubblico nel momento in cui il piccolo Kal-El fugge dal suo pianeta natale Krypton e… beh, il resto lo sapete.

Nonostante la presenza di molti bambini tra il pubblico, le risate sono state poche, e la maggior parte di esse sono arrivate dagli adulti. Questo film è composto principalmente da lunghe scene di violenza con spruzzate di risate; onestamente, si potrebbero contare le volte in cui il pubblico ha riso su due mani. Si potrebbe dire che è perché ho visto il film in italiano e quindi forse non è stato tradotto bene dai dialoghi colloquiali. Ma dopo aver scritto la maggior parte di questa recensione ho confrontato il mio giudizio con quello di altri e in questo caso sono d’accordo con la maggior parte di loro. Do a questo film un 4/10. A mio modesto parere, un film di questo genere dovrebbe far ridere di più invece di scene d’azione violente e lunghe, visto che è rivolto ai bambini. Ad esempio, una scena che spicca e che ho trovato scoraggiante è stata quella in cui Whiskers (il gattino di Lulu) dice: “Ora ti tolgo la vita” e inizia a sparare proiettili laser dalla coda. Questo tipo di discorso è inappropriato per il pubblico.

E ho risposto alla mia domanda… Mi sento sollevata per aver visto questo film prima di condividerlo con mio figlio. L’opinione dei genitori è più importante che mai considerando molti degli eventi attuali e dei cambiamenti culturali che avvengono in tutto il mondo.

Questo film avrebbe potuto essere molto di più se avesse conservato un po’ dell’innocenza e della preziosità dell’infanzia, cosa che ha fatto per dimostrare quanto sia importante l’amicizia anche tra uomo e animale. Anche la grafica era ottima, con un design sonoro intelligente che la valorizzava e personaggi simpatici, ma invece troppo drammatici e violenti, soprattutto per i bambini.

C’è anche da chiedersi quali siano le motivazioni che hanno spinto a creare un film del genere per questo pubblico. In che modo Hollywood influenza, soprattutto i nostri figli?
