Women and work: the gap between these two worlds is too wide, especially in certain sectors such as ICT
Technology and women are the topics of Bluemix girls’ night, 2014 Thursday December 4 at 18:30 at the coworking space Cowo|360.
2014 Thursday December 4
Via Vacuna, 96 – 00157 Roma
The ICT sector is growing and arise and develop new careers and a lot of job opportunities.
But the European Union reports that only 30% of the more than 7 million people employed in ICT are women. Really a small number. This will be discussed during this event organized by Talent Garden in collaboration with IBM.
Bluemix Girls’ Night – women and tech comparing experiences is an evening for women who still passionately believe in technology and innovation and challenge themselves to build the future.
You will hear the stories of those who have it made and the particular testimony of IBM that helps these women to expand their business and to grow professionally.
It will also be an opportunity to discover the platform leading IBM, cloud Bluemix, learning the basics to develop their app directly on the cloud.
The women in the workforce are called every day to face multiple challenges that make their unique experience. For women who work in ITC, these challenges are even greater.
Milan, Rome and Turin will host the event at the same time and will be connected together to share together the stories and experiences of the participants.
The event is free.
