Renato Zero sintetizza il concept di AUTORITRATTO, il nuovo album del cantautore e produttore discografico.

«Silence these days is inadvisable a little bit for everyone. I have never done anything to encourage it. My artistic output, so tangible, is proof of that! Of course, it takes good arguments, some good material and a lot of healthy determination to defeat “the dangerous stillness of nothingness.” My modest works fed me. It was an irrepressible and perpetual courage that gave me artistic and psychophysical health, without which I would never have seen the dawn again…. Thanks also to the vast array of accomplices who have done their utmost to make this, seemingly impossible, endeavor a most enjoyable and compelling crossing. People who make music like me, who speak the same language as me, who dispense emotions and foster beneficial encounters and relationships. Music only makes sense if it is done together with others! “AUTHORITRACT,” yet another tile in this Zero-mosaic, but this time it is I myself who sifts through it. I the one who feels the need to look inside myself, to assess my resilience. Verifying how much autonomy I still have and how much patience my beloved audience has. Thank you to those who dared to follow me, to understand my “uncomfortable” uniqueness, to help me turn a difficult adolescence into a truly exhilarating challenge. Stay by my side that I still guarantee: honesty and respect.
Enjoy this new work of mine that I dedicate to you with all my heart!
Renato, again and always: ZERO!»

A work destined to trace, with the finest of Zero’s calligraphy, an unprecedented page of his extremely rich artistic production and more than 50-year musical career.

The 13 tracks that make up AUTORITRATTO’s Zero-mosaic are the finest fruit of Renato Zero’s boundless creativity, a compelling new traverse guided by his unique visions and extraordinary ability to tell and narrate himself through his art. A richly evocative musical adventure, where Zero’s genius merges once again with his inimitable ability to surprise and inspire.

Alongside the previously unreleased tracks, each with its own unique story, making up the palette of AUTORITRATTO are also songs that the public was able to appreciate live during the monumental celebrations of 070 at Circus Maximus and on the stages of the “Zero to Zero – A Challenge in Music” tour, now in the studio version on the album: from “Quel bellissimo niente” to “Fortunato,” from “L’avventuriero” to “Cuori liberi” via “Zero to Zero.”

In every note of AUTORITRATTO, the child of Renato Zero’s inner probing, the authentic soul of the Roman artist resonates, ready to deliver to his affectionate audience 13 pieces of his experience, his places and his unchanging desire for passion and freedom.

Like a musical mirror, the album gives back the most vivid image of Zero, the geography of his deepest feeling, with a gaze always attentive to those who from the first moment understood and supported him. AUTHORITRATTOcannot fail to open with a love postcard, dedicated to his Rome and his loyal Zerofolli people, and close with a message of hope for a better tomorrow that will sweep away the fog of wars and hatred. In between, some of the artist’s most sincere and fierce autobiographical pieces, true hymns to life, but also the heartfelt dedication to a dear friend and the continuous confrontation between public and private of a Renato who has decided to split himself from 1966 until today.

To condense all the nuances of Renato Zero’s kaleidoscopic talent, AUTORITRATTO will be available in four different colors and covers, creating a unique visual experience.

Renato Zero can’t stay away from his loyal audience and is getting ready to re-embrace fans with iConcerti Evento, a series of unmissable live shows produced by Tattica that, starting next March, will see him starring in the palasport venues of Florence (on March 2-3-5-6, 2024 at the Nelson Mandela Forum) and his Rome (on March 13-14-16-17-20-21, 2024 at the Palazzo dello Sport), the perfect opportunity to listen live to the songs contained in AUTORITRATTO and the best of his entire repertoire.
