La Mostra Internazionale del Cinema Sociale a Vico Equense dal 29 luglio al 5 agosto 2018

Madrina internazionale Katerine Kelly Lang presente al gala inaugurale (29 luglio). Premio alla carriera a Stefania Sandrelli (3 agosto) e Michele Placido (2 agosto). Omaggi a Carlo Vanzina e Paolo Villaggio. Attesi sul red carpet Cristina Donadio (31 luglio), la factory Casa Surace (2 agosto), il premio Oscar Mike Van Diem, Donatella Finocchiaro, Gianfranco Gallo, Nto e Lucariello, il cast della serie televisiva “Braccialetti Rossi” (4 agosto) e tanti altri.

Terza edizione per il Mercato Europeo del Cinema Giovane e Indipendente (1 agosto)

600 opere da tutto il mondo tra lungometraggi, documentari e cortometraggi, 100 anteprime, 6mila minuti di proiezioni, oltre 500 attori, autori, registi in concorso e poi concerti, mostre, masterclass, workshop, seminari. Questi i numeri dell’8a edizione del Social World Film Festival (tutte le attività ad ingresso gratuito – www.socialfestival.com), diretto dal regista e produttore Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo, che si terrà a Vico Equense dal 29 luglio al 5 agosto. Sulla locandina campeggia Sophia Loren alla quale verrà dedicata una retrospettiva con la proiezione di “Pane, amore e…” e “Qualcosa di biondo” e una mostra fotografica al Chiostro del Cinema.

La Mostra Internazionale del Cinema Sociale, che annovera Claudia Cardinale come presidente onorario, premierà alla carriera due miti del cinema italiano come Stefania Sandrelli e Michele Placido che succederanno nell’albo d’oro dei premiati ad artisti come Giancarlo Giannini, Ornella Muti, il premio Oscar Luis Bacalov, Valeria Golino, Leo Gullotta, Franco Nero, Maria Grazia Cucinotta che hanno apposto la loro firma in argilla per il monumento “The Wall of Fame” sito nel centro storico della città.

Madrina di questa edizione l’attrice statunitense Katherine Kelly Lang, nota al grande pubblico anche per la sua Brooke in “Beautiful”, che incontrerà il pubblico di Piazza Mercato – Arena Loren durante il gala inaugurale domenica 29 luglio. A seguire la proiezione del film “Sconessi” di Christian Marazziti alla presenza del regista e del cast per un momento di riflessione sulla comunicazione ai giorni d’oggi.

Lunedì 30 luglio 2018 spazio agli omaggi a Paolo Villaggio e Carlo Vanzina, al mattino il convegnoCinema e giornalismo: linguaggi convergenti in direzione Socialin collaborazione con l’Ordine dei Giornalisti della Campania. La serata di martedì 31 luglio sarà dedicata alla lotta alla violenza di genere con la partecipazione dell’attrice Cristina Donadio e alla premiazione della sezione “Scuole”. Mercoledì 1 agosto sarà la giornata del Mercato del cinema giovane europeo e in serata un omaggio agli Academy Awards.

Grande attesa per l’evento di giovedì 2 agosto con Michele Placido che tributerà il cinema italiano, leggendo passi dal libro “Cinema è Sogno”. A seguire, la proiezione del suo film “7 minuti” e il concerto delle Ebbanesis. Verrà premiata la factory “Casa Surace” con la quale si discuterà di comunicazione sociale sui nuovi media. Venerdì 3 agosto sarà il turno del tributo a Stefania Sandrelli che sarà insignita del titolo di Ambasciatrice del Social World Film Festival nel mondo e omaggiata con il Golden Spike Award alla carriera, poi un approfondimento su “Gatta Cenerentola” alla presenza del cast e dei produttori.

Gran galà di premiazione sabato 4 agosto con sfilata sul red carpet del premio Oscar Mike Van Diem, Donatella Finocchiaro, Gianfranco Gallo (membro giuria qualità), Nto e Lucariello, Fabio Balsamo, il cast della serie televisiva “Braccialetti Rossi” e tanti altri. Domenica 5 al mattino l’evento di chiusura con l’“Ottava Conferenza Internazionale: Il Cinema come veicolo di messaggio sociali”.

Ogni sera verranno proiettati sul maxischermo in 2k e audio Dolby Sorround in piazza Mercato i film più premiati della stagione: “Coco” (30 luglio), “La forma dell’acqua” (31 luglio), “Dunkirk” (1 agosto). Tra le novità, una seconda arena serale nel Chiostro del Cinema al Complesso Monumentale Santissime Trinità e Paradiso con una programmazione di film, documentari e omaggi al cinema realizzato in Penisola Sorrentina, momenti di networking tra autori e giurati anche a colazione, un format dedicato alla letteratura per la settima arte in collaborazione con Ubik e una sfilata di moda e cinema. Tutti i giorni sulla pagina Facebook del Social World Film Festival andrà in onda in diretta un format con news, interviste ai protagonisti e il dopofestival.

Il tema di questanno sarà “Passione. Sentimento, sensazione, sacrificio. Media partner Canale 21, Radio Marte, Radio Marte 2 e Voce di Napoli.
