Anno 1983, edizione di Sanremo straordinaria, uno di quegli anni che con la musica ha accompagnato la gioventu’ di molti Italiani, ricordi bellissimi che ormai appartengono al passato, ma che riascoltandoli fanno tornare in mente nostalgie di amori vissuti e di momenti di vita felici.

Quell’anno usci’ vincitrice del Festival una giovanissima interprete di nome Tiziana Rivale, con la canzone Sara’ quel che sara’, la sua energia,la sua bellezza, il suo look innovativo e sopratutto la sua voce straordinaria fecero innamorare gli Italiani, e fu’ amore a prima vista! Gli unici ad essere presi di sorpresa furono alcuni discografici, che avevano studiato a tavolino, un altro vincitore! Ma per sfortuna loro quell’anno fu’ il pubblico da casa ad eleggere il vincitore del Festival, e scelsero Tiziana Rivale.
Un successo enorme per la canzone vincitrice. Nella serata finale, che si svolse sabato 5 febbraio 1983, la Rivale fu la penultima ad esibirsi. Il regolamento prevedeva che tre brani per gruppo passassero al girone finale: Sarà quel che sarà fu la canzone più votata in assoluto con 3208 punti ed ottenne la qualificazione,
Sarà quel che sarà risultò la canzone più votata anche nella tornata finale, totalizzando 2981 punti ed ottenendo la vittoria, in un podio tutto al femminile!
Ma come in ogni edizione di Sanremo, la vincitrice sarebbe dovuta andare di diritto all’Eurosong Contest… ma questo non accadde per Tiziana Rivale! La sua casa discografica, la WEA, decise che al suo posto sarebbe andato Riccardo Fogli con una canzone intitolata “Per Lucia”, che a mio parere è una delle canzoni piu’ brutte della storia! Si classifico’ 11°.
Questi sono i misteri del nostro amato Paese, dove la parola “meritocrazia e’ stata cancellata dal dizionario della lingua italiana!”
Dopo il successo improvviso Tiziana Rivale resta sull’onda della popolarita’ con altre canzoni di successo. Da allora, diverse sono le partecipazioni televisive e i concerti in Italia e all’estero, toccando paesi come Russia, Germania, Svizzera, Ungheria, Spagna, Turchia, Romania, Belgio, Canada, Australia e U.S.A.
Si esibisce anche con la Filarmonica di Praga, da ricordare, anche la sua partecipazione al World Popular Song Festival Yamaha di Tokyo.

E mentre nel resto del mondo l’artista prendeva piede ed era sempre piu’ apprezzata, in Italia inizia pian piano ad essere messa in ombra e a scomparire quasi del tutto!

Oggi Tiziana Rivale, dopo aver vissuto vari anni in America, continua la sua carriera musicale, con un grande successo all’estero e con la sua solita voce meravigliosa ed unica, e’ uscito il suo nuovo disco dal titolo “Contatto” e l’abbiamo voluta intervistare in esclusiva per Rome Central Magazine per la gioia di tanti Italiani, che come me, continuano a chiedersi il perche’ una voce cosi’ unica e rara non abbia continuato ad avere l’attenzione e il successo che meriterebbe anche in Italia!INTERVISTA CON TIZIANA RIVALE

1) Ciao Tiziana, cosa è cambiato da quel lontano 1983 in cui hai vinto inaspettatamente Sanremo ad oggi?
Ciao Maximo. Dopo aver vinto il festival, ho notato che la gestione discografica lasciava a desiderare, così ho deciso di auto-produrmi e da allora incido ed esporto la mia musica soprattutto all’estero, Europa e Nord America.

2) La tua voce ha tanto di Soul nero, calda e vellutata, una delle voci più belle della musica Italiana, eppure non hai mai avuto l’attenzione meritata qui, mentre all’estero hai un grande esito, come mai?
Come ti accennavo, la situazione nel nostro Paese non si basa sulla meritocrazia. Infatti, è per questo che preferisco lavorare all’estero dove mi apprezzano per meriti artistici.

3) “Sarà quel che sarà” è stato un successo incredibile appena vinto Sanremo, poi pian piano i riflettori su di te si sono spenti. Pensi che la colpa sia stata degli autori o delle case discografiche che non hanno saputo valorizzare la tua voce straordinaria?
E’ una nota dolente. In Italia si va avanti per raccomandazioni quando si parla di tv, e non solo….
Il mio percorso artistico è iniziato da bambina, con una lunga e fortunata gavetta che mi ha formato e rinforzato il carattere, quindi per me è normale essere molto determinata per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.

4) Raccontaci della Tiziana Rivale inedita di oggi, il tuo nuovo stile musicale, il tuo Tour Internazionale, il tuo nuovo album?
Ho avuto diverse esperienze, ho vissuto 4 anni a Los Angeles e sono tornata nel 1992. Da allora sono sempre in attività, canto vari generi musicali e ho anche inciso un cd in 6 lingue: “Babylon 2015” che mi da la possibilità di esportare la mia musica viaggiando. Invece il mio ultimo doppio cd s’intitola “Contatto – Ieri oggi domani”.

5) Cosa pensi dei Talent Show televisivi? Se te lo proponessero andresti come giudice in un Talent?
Spesso gli emergenti non hanno gavetta e si copiano a vicenda, poi si basano su ciò che offre il sistema che secondo me, non migliora. Non prevedo per me una cosa del genere.

6) Tu sei stata docente di canto di Sister Cristina alla Star Rose Academy di Roma…. un tuo giudizio professionale su Suor Cristina come sua insegnante?
Suor Cristina per tre anni è stata mia allieva quando con Franco Simone ero docente alla Star Rose Academy. Lei ha sempre amato cantare e il nostro suggerimento era di dosare la voce per ottenere il giusto chiaro-scuro su ogni canzone.

7) Nella tua lunga carriera artistica avrai sicuramente avuto modo di duettare con altri artisti, di chi hai un ricordo che più ti è rimasto dentro?
Ho duettato con vari artisti, quali: George Aaron, Edoardo Agnelli, Fabrizio Voghera, Luigi Libra, Peter Aresti, Carlo Cori con cui spesso canto all’estero, e il duetto che è rimasto indelebile è quello con Ronnie Jones, un mito della disco-music.

8) Tu sei stata molto amica del grande Paolo Limiti, hai lavorato vari anni con lui in Rai. Che ricordo hai di Limiti? Come era professionalmente ed umanamente?
Dal 1997 al 2003 sono stata nel cast fisso del suo programma “Ci vediamo in TV”.
Paolo era una persona eccezionale, umanamente e professionalmente e sarà sempre l’unico che ringrazierò per l’opportunità che mi ha dato. E’ stata una grande scuola partecipare ai suoi programmi, ogni giorno in diretta.

9) Ad oggi secondo te chi è l’Artista musicale Italiano più rappresentativo all’Estero?
Credo che Zucchero sia un artista poliedrico che sia in grado di competere a livello internazionale.

10) Cosa pensi dell’Eurosong contest di quest’anno e di Netta, la vincitrice Israeliana?
Non ho potuto ascoltare le canzoni ma ho apprezzato la notevole scenografia.
Ricordo che purtroppo sono stata l’unica a non essere presente al grande evento quando vinsi il Festival e ancora c’è un mistero sul motivo per cui i discografici non mi fecero partecipare.

11) Secondo te quali sono le chiavi del successo, per un cantante emergente, se ce ne sono?
Oggi è molto difficile intraprendere questa carriera, con alcuni esempi televisivi che danno spesso un messaggio ingannevole.
Non bisogna pagare per esibirsi e mai credere a quelli che dicono: ti mando a Sanremo ma devi pagare un tot… Questi tipi vanno denunciati! Dipende poi dal talento (che oggi si mette all’ultimo posto) volontà, intuito e molta fortuna!

12) Il tuo più grande desiderio come artista?
A me basta continuare la mia carriera a livello globale e proprio con il web penso di riuscirci.
