Il Globe Theatre di Roma, nel cuore di Villa Borghese, celebra i suoi 15 anni di drammaturgia shakespeariana aprendo la stagione 2018 con la famosa commedia “Molto rumore per nulla” di Loredana Scaramella. L’efficace messa in scena e la convincente recitazione degli attori confermano il successo della direzione artistica di Gigi Proietti di questo gioiello teatrale senza tempo.

IL TEATRO

Il Globe Theatre è la ricostruzione fedele di un teatro elisabettiano, il noto “wooden O”, amato e frequentato dal pubblico di tutti i ceti, mentre in Italia a quel tempo gli spettacoli erano chiusi nelle corti per pochi aristocratici. L’accompagnamento musicale di questa edizione riproduce il ruolo degli strumenti in scena, molto più presenti di oggi anche durante gli intervalli. I costumi in tema e una scenografia essenziale aiutano ad immedesimarsi nell’epoca e nel testo shakespeariano, reale innovatore e talvolta precursore dell’opera teatrale.

IL CUORE DELLA COMMEDIA

Una classica commedia elisabettiana, dove accanto ai temi tradizionali come i sentimenti, la famiglia, il buono, il malvagio e il lieto fine, ne scorgiamo di nuovi. Una compagnia nata dagli incontri del Globe. Una nuova versione di questa commedia sul tema della crisi intesa come tempo della metamorfosi, su come un ostacolo, una difficoltà, possa trasformarsi in un’occasione di crescita personale e collettiva. 

Molto rumore per nulla” è una favola illuminante sul potere della parola, una commedia invasa da una gioia luminosa resa ancora più accecante da una lama d’ombra, il suono di troppe parole, la frenesia che spinge gli uomini ad amare, giocare, desiderare, combattere. Questa agitazione, che ha la sua sintesi nella eccitazione sessuale, esplode in una casa ospitale piena di balli e di feste, d’estate, nella assolata Sicilia, un luogo che per Shakespeare certo significava esotismo e sensualità e che qui si sposta in un Salento ideale, illuminato.

Benedetto e Beatrice, campioni dei rispettivi schieramenti, difendono strenuamente e con sfoggio di battute ironiche le loro autonome identità, come due adolescenti ostinati, lei attaccata al ruolo maschile che ha assunto, lui incapace di liberarsi dall’attrazione del cameratismo adolescenziale. Sono paralizzati da una paura che li rende comici, mentre la coppia Claudio e Hero è vittima dell’inganno. E così il “buffone del Principe” si trasforma nel nuovo capo del palazzo, giovane, saggio e brillante. I malvagi rimangono tali, chi oggi si ama si amava già ma con una coscienza diversa in questo processo di svelamento e metamorfosi.

Tutti ci ritroviamo complici del tentativo di mettere a nudo i meccanismi del cambiamento e tutti siamo chiamati a spiare e valutare i rischi e l’eventuale bellezza dell’incontro con l’altro. Sostenuti dalla gioia e dal coraggio e trascinati dalla musica, transitiamo dal baco alla farfalla.”
