The second evening of Sanremo 2019 opens, as expected, with a live by Baglioni, which offers one of his songs, but this time ‘a little less engaging early evening! The episode sees the challenge between only 12 competitors in which, without a shadow of a doubt, the great and unique Loredana Berte ‘stands out, with the song “what do you expect from me”, and what do we expect from an icon like Berte?
That obviously win Sanremo!
It left pleasantly surprised during the evening, the presence of Pippo Baudo on the stage of the Ariston, a return to the past and the good times that were! When he presented Claudio Baglioni with “that little big love”, he showed that despite having reached almost 90 years of age he shas not lost the verve and the professionalism that has always distinguished him.
But the real stars of this second evening of the Festival were the great Italian musical guests, Marco Mengoni, Riccardo Cocciante and an extraordinary Fiorella Mannoia, who with his new song “Il peso del coraggio (the weight of courage)”, moved all of Italy!
It is worth mentioning the whole text of the song, and reflect a bit ‘to reflect on this life, on this age we are living and on all the tragedies that every day we are forced to look with distant eyes and hearts, as spectators before a film, without realizing that instead it is all real and that is really happening! :
Sono questi vuoti d’aria
Questi vuoti di felicità
Queste assurde convinzioni
Tutte queste distrazioni
A farci perdereSono come buchi neri
