The company Generazione Disagio, made up of a group of young and brilliant actors, is in Rome at the OFF OFF Theater in Via Giulia with the show “Dopodichè stasera mi butto” where it will celebrate the hundredth replica.
The theme is the discomfort of a generation of means, the one born in the eighties, which has made it a habitual condition. Irony and sarcasm are the means to tell the drift of a country that extinguishes all hope of the future in young people.
The show is built on a paradox: three competitors, the undergraduate, the intern, the precarious are fighting to free themselves from the condition of losers at the mercy of the crisis. The game is the game of the goose conducted by a presenter. Competitors must pass tests with the help and participation of the public in the hall, evidence of distraction, disaffection and lack of interest to accumulate the most points of discomfort juggling between tests collective, individual and unexpected boxes. The points accumulated advance the competitor on the board towards the final box: the coveted suicide box.
Generazione Disagio (trad. Generation of discomfort) puts on stage a reversed vision of reality, a cynical game that aims at the cancellation of discomfort with intelligence and irony.
