The cultural association Dodekachordon presents the opera Madame Butterfly, by Giacomo Puccini, realized in a staged with orchestra, Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 20.00 at the Teatro Don Bosco in Rome.

A work always loved by the public, played by an excellent cast in the full version, including the soprano Fujiko Hirai, who lives in Rome, the mezzo soprano and baritone Naoko Sunaga Macoto Oocubo in collaboration with artists from Japan, and presented with a quirky décor and costumes faithful at the time and the ambience.

The staging of Madama Butterfly of May 5 has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the “Twenty-Choir” of Tokyo that, under the direction of Maestro Oocubo, performs regularly in Japan and abroad in challenging programs operatic and symphonic, and that is in Italy for the first time for a tour. The “Twenty Choir” in Tokyo and the Ensemble vocal-instrumental Dodekachordon are directed by Salvatore Mele.
