In Rome, the month of September 2015 is dedicated to classical music, a foretaste of the great symphonic season we offer this autumn / winter by the symphonic National Academy of Santa Cecilia.
Three orchestras will be setting the mood for a musical language without borders.
The concerts cycle will be inaugurated by Filarmonica della Scala, conducted by Daniel Harding in a concert paying homage to the Armenian genocide of 1915. Next comes an exotic atmosphere, as Gustavo Rivero Weber leads Orquesta Juvenil Universitaria Eduardo Mata de Mexico in a programme of countless colours. And for a grand finale, the intensity of Russia with the Qatar Philarmonic Orchestra conducted by Dmitrij Kitajenko.

“With you, Armenia”
1915 – 2015 Centennial of the Armenian Genocide
The cycle of concerts “With you, Armenia” has already started with remarkable event in Jerusalem in March 5. Next concert in Tallinn few days later was also a great success. Mission of the project is to raise topic of the Armenian Genocide through world famous musicians whose every word attracts attention of millions of people and mass media.
The concert dedicated to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide “With you, Armenia” in Roma will be with La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra under baton of one of the famous conductors of our time Daniel Harding.
The event, as all concerts of “With you, Armenia” cycle will be supported by the State Commission for 100th anniversary of Armenia. Other concerts will happen in NY Carnegie Call with Evgeny Kissin and Krzysztof Penderecki, in London with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Pinchas Zukerman, in Brussels with Belgian National Orchestra, Sergei Nakariakov, Maxim Vengerov, Mischa Maisky and George Pehlivanian and closing concert in Vienna Musikverein.
