Viva l’Italia is back at Cinecittà World, and next weekend in September 2021 the biggest Interforce event ever held in a theme park will continue. Gazelles (police cars), squad cars, historic cars, forensic laboratories, military vehicles, ship’s transporters, canine units, fanfares and athletes from sports groups will all gather together again at Cinecittà World on 11 and 12 September 2021 with an impressive and impressive deployment of forces, for a unique event in Italy.
The Armed Forces, the Police Forces and the Fire Brigade will give life to Viva L’Italia, a charity event now in its fifth edition. In the Cinema and TV amusement park in Rome there will be a parade of men, women and vehicles that tirelessly guarantee our safety every day.
A unique opportunity to discover, from behind the scenes, the daily work and techniques used by the Corps operating on our territory and in international missions.
This year 3 euros will be donated for each special ticket linked to the event to Family Welfare Bodies of Armed Forces, Police Forces and Fire Brigades.
The chosen theme, linked to the Tokyo Olympics, will be “Champions of life, champions of sport”, to focus on the stories of men and women who are both athletes (Olympic and Paralympic) and servants of the State.
And every day at 4 p.m. on the Cinecittà Street stage it will be possible to meet the Olympic and Paralympic athletes who have raised the Italian flag this summer, including Abraham De Jesus CONYEDO RUANO, bronze medallist in Tokyo in wrestling, and Mirko Zanni, bronze medallist in weightlifting.
The central Piazza della Televisione will host the vehicles of the Italian Army, Navy, Air Force and Carabinieri.
On Cinecittà Street, on the other hand, the State Police vehicles will be present during the first weekend, with the forensic laboratories, the Lamborghini Huracan and two motorbikes from the Stradale. The dog unit will also be there, as well as representatives of the athletes and the Fiamme Oro, some of whom won medals at the Tokyo Olympics.
For the two days, at 12.30 and 3.00 p.m., the Fire Brigade’s motor training instructors will be waiting for visitors at the Cinecipiscina to reawaken their muscles and do some motor activity together. There will also be demonstrations by the Red Cross Military Corps.
Bands and fanfares will also be in the spotlight: on Saturday 11 September it will be the turn of the dismounted fanfare of the 4th CC Mounted Regiment. On Sunday 12 September, the Air Force Band will conclude the event at 5.40 pm.
On Saturday 11 September 2021, at 8.30 p.m., the Blue Butterflies of the Italian Air Force will fly under the coloured sky of the majestic Stardust Tunnel in Cinecittà Street.
“As in a park, the fun and safety of guests are the result of a lot of work, infrastructure, techniques and targeted investments,” says Stefano Cigarini, CEO of Cinecittà World, “so the protection of citizens is guaranteed by the constant work of men and specialized means. Therefore it is important, through events like this, to develop awareness and knowledge”.
The State Police is “proud to participate in the event also for the solidarity purposes it pursues. In fact, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Marco Valerio Plan for the children of police officers, in service and retired, suffering from pathologies”.
The Defence General Staff is pleased to participate, also this year, in “Viva l’Italia a Cinecittà World”, the charity event dedicated to solidarity, in a collaboration now consolidated and shared, this year in support of the Armed Forces Family Welfare Institutions. It is also an interesting opportunity to learn more about the world of the military and the forces of order.
