10858531_794671930603456_2698918432351290933_nIn uno dei quartieri tra i più amati e bistrattati di Roma non è difficile imbattersi in uno dei tanti micro eventi che popola le strade del Pigneto, il distretto a sud dell’urbe tra via Casilina e via Prenestina. Habitué nell’intrico di vicoli e viuzze sono creativi, artisti, fotografi, registi e cineasti, facile incontrare che lasciano un segno non solo in angoli e vie ma anche tra gallerie, locali trend setter e luoghi d’incontro che si rinnovano scandendo il tempo di uno dei luoghi più vivaci della capitale.

A confortare questo rassicurante quadretto ricreativo le sperimentazione di Laszlo Biro, lo spazio di arte contemporanea in via Braccio da Montone 56, con l’ultima delle a sue installazioni temporanee. Protagonisti della performance “Il fuoco non brucia le idee” che si ripete ogni sera dal 10 gennaio e durerà fino al 20 febbraio lo street artist Hogre e il collettivo Guerrilla Spam.
1380487_763510263728264_8395002138604188631_nAd accogliere il manifesto funebre che indica l’ingresso della camera ardente, dove ogni giorno alle 19 in punto si procede alla cremazione creativa: le stampe realizzate dai due artisti e riproposte in serie numerate vengono bruciate… fino a quando qualcuno non la sottrarrà al fuoco acquistandone copia. Un allestimento che “annuncia la prematura dipartita di Hogre e Guerrilla Spam e celebrano la loro opera con una mostra in memoriam”.

Le fiamme così distruggono ripetutamente le opere che facevano parte dell’ultimo progetto realizzato insieme dagli artisti per proporre una mostra che analizzava il rapporto tra religione e laicità e “che avrebbe dovuto essere presentata il giorno di Natale 2014, ma a cui sfortunatamente la tragedia ha impedito di vedere la luce”.

Hogre e Guerrilla spam hanno dedicato incessantemente la loro attività ad analizzare e combattere il sistema speculativo che li voleva parte dell’ingranaggio economico. Nemesi dello status quo che volevano abbattere i due hanno però tragicamente finito per essere essi stessi vittime di ciò a cui strenuamente si opponevano.

Chi sono?

HOGRE

Attivo dal 2007 è un artista del quale non si ha nessun dato biografico. Molto noto nella scena artistica e urbana di Roma, ha lavorato in Italia e all’Estero, proponendo poster e stencil connotati da una vena giocosa che però strizza l’occhio all’arte concettuale e all’estetica punk.

GUERILLA SPAM

Nata nel novembre 2010 a Firenze come spontanea azione illegale di attacchinaggio negli spazi urbani, dal 2011 si impone con numerosi lavori in strada in tutta Italia e all’estero, che mantengono un forte interesse per le tematiche sociali e per il rapporto tra individuo e spazio pubblico, prediligendo l’azione urbana illegale all’evento più ufficiale e autorizzato. Nel 2012 Guerrilla Spam ha pubblicato il libro Guerrilla Spam. Tutto ciò che sai è falso. Dal 2013 sono organizzatori di Shit Art Fair, la fiera d’arte non autorizzata che si svolge da due anni a Torino in contemporanea con Artissima.

Laszlo Biro
La galleria nata nel 2010 a Roma con l’intento di promuovere l’arte contemporanea sperimenta da anni una propria formula espositiva sperimentale: non più una esposizione di tele in vendita, ma istallazioni temporanee che fungano da teaser per ottenere commissioni da parte di collezionisti privati e da Pubbliche Amministrazioni. Laszlo Biro si trova in Via Braccio da Montone 56, Roma
