Roma caput mundi compie 2770 anni dal giorno della sua fondazione, il 21 Aprile del 753 a.C.. e apre i festeggiamenti per il Natale di Roma, invasa da diversi appuntamenti.

ETERNA propone il countdown della nascita con l’hastag dell’evento #2770 e inizia oggi la festa che continuerà per tre giorni con ospiti d’eccezione e eventi rigorosamente gratuiti sulla sponda del laghetto dell’Eur. Organizzata dall’ASD Palio di Roma ETERNA#2770 è la seconda edizione del festival che propone musica, cinema, performance artistiche, street art, spazi per laboratori culturali, food, attività sportiva e fitness per riscoprire il piacere di stare insieme e appartenere al tessuto urbano, uniti dal simbolico lancio dei palloncini la sera del 21 aprile per festeggiare il compleanno di Roma

ETERNA è un contenitore di talenti, artisti emergenti meno noti e volti più conosciuti in campo musicale, artistico e culturale. Ad essere coinvolta è la “romanità” sotto tutti i punti di vista dalla cultura all’intrattenimento.

Cosa è ETERNA?
ETERNA rappresenta un festival 100% made in Roma: si svolge a Roma, con Roma e per Roma, per la città e i romani.Il festival è un omaggio alla città eterna per antonomasia e ai romani, al suo essere da secoli un luogo che continua ad essere un punto di riferimento per romani e non …ma soprattutto per i romani che senza la loro città non potrebbero vivere! Hanno bisogno di Roma, rappresentano gli EROI di questa città.

In realtà chi sono questi eroi?
Gli “Eroi di #Eterna” sono tutti coloro che consentono alla manifestazione di esistere, dai partecipanti al Palco Libero (uno tra gli appuntamenti presenti al festival per offrire una vetrina dove esibire il proprio talento in pubblico), agli artisti che “doneranno” i pallet, a voi che scrivete di noi. Abbiamo iniziato a parlare di eroi un giorno per gioco. Facevamo delle chiamate, prendevamo appuntamenti e ci rendevamo conto di quanto vivere a Roma sia eroico. Le imprese quotidiane non sono facili a Roma, ma non vogliamo dare un’accezione negativa a questo concetto, anzi. Crediamo che vivere a Roma sia un’avventura, un’emozione ma comunque non dimentichiamo che i romani sono eroi perché nonostante le difficoltà Roma non perde la sua anima, quella di essere la Capitale di attività culturali, associazioni, eventi, buon cibo e sorrisi. Roma è bellissima, la amiamo ma lo è solo grazie ai suoi cittadini e noi abbiamo pensato di dedicargli una festa.

Eterna è la festa dei romani e loro sono i nostri eroi.

Siete alla seconda edizione di ETERNA, che cosa propone di diverso rispetto alla precedente edizione?
L’edizione dello scorso anno è stata una sorpresa e per questo nuovo anno abbiamo deciso di raddoppiare le attività, anzi di triplicarle. Eterna#2769 presentava concerti, area bimbi, street food, lo street artist Maupal e i tradizionali palloncini simbolici per i festeggiamenti. Oggi è diventato più ricco e coinvolgente: quest’anno, infatti, il programma vede molti più partecipanti per ogni sezione.
Ad esempio il Cinema all’aperto è una delle grandi novità: quando parliamo di Roma, non possiamo non parlare di cinema, per questo motivo grazie al coinvolgimento di varie realtà romane del cinema indipendente e non (come il KINO, Medusa e l’Università La Sapienza) abbiamo selezionato una serie di film che verranno proiettati durante i tre giorni di festival.
Altra grande novità è il Palco Libero. Si tratta di un palco dedicato alla presentazione delle proprie creazioni artistiche. Un palco dedicato a tutti i romani che a Roma creano. Non si tratta di un talent, a ogni partecipante sarà data mezz’ora per presentare il proprio progetto/spettacolo. Nella nostra idea vorrebbe essere una sorta di Carosello tutto dedicato a Roma, un modo per farsi conoscere e creare rete.

Cosa vuole rappresentare ETERNA?
In generale l’obiettivo di ETERNA è creare aggregazione sociale attraverso l’arte, la cultura, il cibo, l’attività sportiva e l’attenzione ai bambini, alle famiglie, agli anziani, a tutti coloro che rendono viva la nostra città.
All’interno del Palco Libero l’iniziativa #portainonni è un invito all’azione. Roma è fatta di storia, e i romani, i nostri eroi, hanno tante storie da raccontare: chi più dei nonni può trasmettercele? Conoscere la Roma di ieri, riproporre quel “racconto orale” e di condivisione per tramandare la storia della città da chi ha visto cambiarla sotto ai propri occhi. Durante i tre giorni i nonni (e non solo) potranno salire sul Palco Libero e raccontare una storia in maniera spontanea, senza prenotazioni. Speriamo davvero che la timidezza non la faccia da padrone e che condivideranno con noi le loro esperienze!

Vogliamo risvegliare la romanità, il senso di appartenenza, ma soprattutto l’idea di comunità: crediamo che Eterna oltre a un contenitore sia un collante.

Da qui nasce anche il nuovo progetto ArteXRoma che coinvolge artisti come Franco Losvizzero, Omino71, Mr. Klevra, Moby Dick, Ironmould, Teddy Killer, Giulia Bannister Di Vara tra gli altri. Saranno in 15 gli artisti che doneranno 15 opere ai municipi romani, un progetto di arte urbana che vedrà i classici pallet utilizzati come delle tele, il supporto di opere inedite realizzate per la città.

Gli artisti che si esibiranno sono tanti, tutti all’insegna della romanità: da Dario Rossi ai Muro Del Canto, ad esempio per la musica; Maupal, Diamond e Gabriele Cigna, che personalizzano live tre esemplari di scooter Vespa; il KINO e La Sapienza per il cinema, il Roma web film festival, 999contemporary e a.DNA project per parlare di spazi urbani e rigenerazione all’insegna dell’arte, tra i diversi ospiti accompagnati da proposte romane di food street, laboratori per bambini, attività di fitness e sport con Fabio Damiani personal trainer delle palestre Heaven, a ginnastica posturale e attività fisica per le donne in dolce attesa.

Tante e diverse le proposte del festival che invita i romani a partecipare ai suoi appuntamenti gratuiti per festeggiare insieme Roma, la città eterna!
