300 historical palaces in the centre of Rome will open their courtyards to the public. These amazing corners, most of the time hidden to the Romans and the tourists, are the heart of noble palaces. 2018, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th they will be open with free entrance thanks to the A.D.S.I. volunteers, to celebrate the eight edition of the “National Historical Residences Day” and to underline the importance of the private historical heritage and their conservation.
This event was born to sensitize the big audience towards the private historical heritage and is sponsored by Roma Capital City. It happens during the Private Heritage Week when all the European organization for the defence of the historical houses celebrate the European Year of the Cultural Heritage declared by the European Union.
Walking around with curiosity you will see the jewels of the historical heritage of the Capital because Rome it is not only ancient ruins but also the best expression of the Italian Renaissance, Baroque and Risorgimental architecture. Do not miss events and exhibitions that will enrich the visits.
