THE “FUSION DREAM” OF FLAMENTANGO PROJECT IN CONCERT AT THE AUDITORIUM

Flamenco, Argentine tango, Neapolitan songs, American jazz, blues and a hint of Mexico seem to be the ingredients for a magic potion, whereas they are the notes that Flamentango Project will bring on stage on Sunday, November 2nd at 21:30 at Parco dellaMusica in Rome.

FlamentangoFlamentango Project ensemble was founded two years ago thanks to the passion of the artistic director Lucio Pozone, who brought together top-level artists from different regions of the world and artistic experiences. The show “8 de Tango  y 12 de Flamenco” will present the group’s CD, with music by LucioPozone, Massimo De Lorenzi, Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano, Chick Corea,Carosone / Bonagura.

As the name suggests, in Flamentango Project flamenco and tango meet and are interwoven with wisdom: two ways to live music and dance sharing the same spark, passion. The desire of the ensemble is to let the audience enjoy the music of authors that left an indelible mark on history, and also his own compositions, all arranged by the members.

Why  “8 de Tango y 12 de flamenco“? 8 and 12 are not only two numbers but symbols of stories and emotions. The Ocho is one of the figures of the tango, drawn on the floor by the foot of the woman driven by the man, metaphor of the union of two bodies that communicate with the same language.

Twelve in flamenco is a rhythm, an impetuous and romantic force at the same time.
On stage Lucio Pozone (flamenco guitar), Massimo De Lorenzi (guitar), Alessandra D’Andrea (flute), Alexander Wigeon (accordion and bandoneon), Giovanna Famulari (cello and vocals), Gabriel Gagliarini (cajon and percussion) and Mauro Vaccarelli electric bass.
