Lunedì 22 marzo 2021 Francesca Fini rende omaggio a Dante Alighieri per i 700 anni dalla morte. Su Radio Mi, il progetto è in collaborazione con l’Albania, commissionato da Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Tirana

Proseguono gli appuntamenti con “Radio Dante – Un viaggio stereofonico nei versi del vate fiorentino”, il progetto di Francesca Fini in collaborazione con l’Albania, commissionato da Istituto italiano di Cultura di Tirana per celebrare i settecento anni dalla morte di Dante Alighieri. Lunedì 22 marzo in onda su Radio Mi (radiomi.al) la trasmissione del podcast sul sommo poeta fiorentino va in streaming, come ogni lunedì dal 15 febbraio scorso, alle ore 11.00 e 13.00 con due episodi, in replica alle 16.00 e alle 18.00.

I versi di Dante Alighieri tratti dalle “Rime” e dalla “Vita nuova” in un viaggio intenso guidato dalle voci degli interpreti Daniela Cavallini e Daniele Sirotti, seguiti e preparati da Emanuele Di Silvestro, giovane studioso che ha portato avanti un’accurata ricerca sul linguaggio dantesco. Nella sceneggiatura sperimentale di Francesca Fini, sviluppata in senso tridimensionale grazie al lavoro del sound-designer Boris Riccardo D’Agostino, il paesaggio sonoro si arricchisce di suggestioni insolite e spiazzanti. Avvolti dalle voci e dai suoni, sembrerà di vivere all’interno di un road movie che traferisce l’universo dantesco nel nostro presente, tra cellulari e collegamenti internet, aeroporti affollati, auto in corsa che fuggono dalla polizia, treni in partenza, rave party, jazz club, strade trafficate e persino astronavi spaziali.

Ventuno episodi in cui si alternano i sonetti, le ballate, una sestina lirica e canzoni che parlano d’amore, di vita e di morte, di amicizia e d’esilio. Un florilegio che spazia tra opere poco note al grande pubblico e altre celeberrime, come la canzone “Donne ch’avete intelletto d’Amore” che chiude il podcast nel ventunesimo episodio. Tutte le opere di Dante nella versione utilizzata sono riprodotte su gentile concessione della Salerno Editrice.

Francesca Fini è un’artista interdisciplinare che da anni si muove in quel territorio di confine dove le arti si ibridano, cercando di distillare una sintesi personale proprio nel linguaggio performativo e videoperformativo contemporaneo. Negli anni ha presentato il suo lavoro al Museo MACRO e MAXXI di Roma, al Guggenheim di Bilbao, al Schusev State Museum of Architecture di Mosca, alle Tese dell’Arsenale di Venezia, al Georgia Institute of Technology e in numerosi ambiti accademici nazionali e internazionali. Ha performato a Toronto per FADO Performance Art Festival, a Chicago per Rapid Pulse Festival, a Belo Horizonte per FAD Festival De Arte Digital, a San Paolo e a Rio per FILE Electronic Language International Festival, a Madrid per IVHAM e Proyector Festival, a Mumbai per Kala Ghoda e a Tokyo per il Japan Media Arts Festival. A Venezia ha preso parte alla prima Venice International Performance Art Week, nei suggestivi spazi di Palazzo Bembo. Nel 2014 e nel 2016 è stata selezionata da Bob Wilson per partecipare alla residenza artistica presso il Watermill Center di New York, e successivamente invitata alla Triennale di Milano per un evento del Watermill presso l’Illy Art Lab. Ha la sua base in Italia, ma espone, ricerca e lavora in tutto il mondo. Nel 2016 ha ultimato il film sperimentale Ofelia non annega (con Istituto Luce Cinecittà), inserito da Adriano Aprà tra i migliori film italiani degli ultimi 20 anni. La Treccani cita Francesca Fini alla nuovissima voce cyber-performance come una degli artisti più significativi di questo linguaggio in Italia. www.francescafini.com
