Dal 26 al 28 maggio 2017, nel quartiere di Testaccio, negli spazi dell’Ex Mattatoio considerato da molti un simbolo del fermento creativo della Capitale, e precisamente presso i locali de “La Pelanda” – MACRO Testaccio si svolge la 3a edizione di ARF! il Festival del fumetto che si propone di porre la narrazione disegnata al centro della scena della capitale.

A Roma  ci si prepara per un intenso fine settimana di attività artistiche che vedrà cinque grandi mostre esclusive a partire da  «MACROMANARA – Tutto ricominciò con un’estate romana» (dal 26 maggio al 9 luglio 2017) la grande esposizione dedicata al Maestro dell’eros Milo Manara e in particolare al suo rapporto con Roma e il cinema, da Caravaggio e i Borgia alla Cinecittà di Federico Fellini e le sue grandi dive, oltre a quelle di Sara Pichelli, la superstar tutta italiana che disegna per la Marvel Comics e che ha firmato il manifesto ufficiale di questa edizione 2017 del Festival; Gigi Cavenago disegnatore di Dylan Dog e tutti gli incubi di casa Sergio Bonelli Editore; Topolino e la Disney secondo il “tocco francese” della Glénat attraverso una mostra collettiva dei quattro artisti d’oltralpe Cosey, Keramidas, Loisel e Tébo; e ancora la bravissima Bianca Bagnarelli, già fondatrice di Delebile Edizioni e autrice per l’inglese Nobrow, vincitrice del Premio Bartoli alla seconda edizione di ARF!.

#ARF3 quest’anno cresce nuovamente e si arricchisce grazie alla presenza dei principali editori italiani di fumettistica con la presenza dei tanti autori contemporanei. Si possono ammirare mostre e partecipare a workshop, incontri e confronti con i professionisti del settore.

Tre giorni ricchi di opportunità professionali con presentazione di progetti, auto-produzioni ed etichette indipendenti. Son ostati allestiti spazi per l’incontro con gli autori, performance dal vivo e anteprime esclusive.

All’ ARF! anche io piu’ piccoli sono i benvenuti  , è infatti presente uno spazio dedicato ai bambini e un’Area Kids a ingresso gratuito fino ai 12 anni, con laboratori creativi, disegni e letture ad alta voce, giochi e libri.

La grande novità dell’edizione 2017 sarà la ARFist Alley che ospiterà i migliori autori italiani che pubblicano all’estero, esportando l’eccellenza del fumetto “made in Italy”, tra i quali Theo, LRNZ, Carmine di Giandomenico presenti per offrire disegni, dediche, stampe esclusive.
