Caput-mundi_international-burlesque-award-2015_RomeRoma sexy e retrò. Dal 6 all’8 novembre 2015 la capitale sogna il Moulin Rouge. L’occasione la offre per il terzo anno consecutivo Caput Mundi International Burlesque Award, che trasforma tre location in un palcoscenico tutto piume di struzzo, guanti di raso, nastri e paillettes.

Venerdì al Teatro Centrale scatta l’ora dello spettacolo farcito di doppi sensi, tra auto d’epoca e cromate Harley Davidson. Anche se sono in pochi a sapere davvero cosa sia il burlesque, sono in tanti a riferire scenografie a sfondo erotico, foderate di guepière, dove le donne si muovono fino a far esplodere al vento le carni burrose. Carni che calcheranno il Rose Carpet, rinominato in memoria di Mrs Rose, promessa del “settore” scomparsa da poco tempo. Sabato, largo ai corpi da urlo pronti ad accendere i fasti della Dolce Vita lungo via Veneto.

La location? È segreta. Di certo si conosce il suo nome, Burly Speakeasy, ma il luogo esatto sarà reso noto solo a chi prenoterà una poltrona al festival. Si conclude il tutto presso il The Yellow che trasforma l’hotel nella residenza ufficiale del burlesque, concludendo la tre giorni con una domenica all’insegna di un party tra workshop, reading piccanti, e brindisi per la conclusione della kermesse. Per semplificare l’accesso alle serate, l’organizzazione si avvale della collaborazione di Uber, servizio taxi che mette a disposizione corse gratuite per i nuovi utenti.

Se volete conoscere queste macchine da eros, non perdete l’occasione. Anche perché crea una certa suggestione anche solo l’idea di viaggiare in un mondo nato in Gran Bretagna, per volontà di procaci signore in gonnelle color carne e busti di trasparente levità. Lì è un’arte vecchia come il cucco; si narra che il duca di Buckingham scrisse già un’opera burlesque nel 1671. Approdato in America nei saloon del Far West, dove era chiamato «the poor man’s folies» (le follie dei poveri), ha vissuto un periodo di riposo (forzato) negli anni Trenta. Il Novecento l’ha poi mandato in letargo per l’avvento dello spogliarello integrale, unico nel fracassare ogni risvolto artistico.
D’altronde mai il burlesque si sarebbe piegato alla curiosità pelosa e godereccia degli spettatori. Così s’è preso il suo tempo per tornare alla carica: ora. E a Roma si sfidano le più promettenti interpreti dell’antica arte dello streap-tease, in gara per l’elezione della Papessa del Burlesque, insignita dalla corona realizzata dall’affermato designer Jan Eneskey. Caput-Mundi_International-Burlesque-AwardTante i protagonisti internazionali. Ospiti molto attesi infatti, sono il boylesque Russell Bruner da Portland e la diva Michelle L’Amour da Chicago (per la prima volta in Italia), quest’ultima insieme a Sven Petersen e Virgil DeNice, comporranno la giuria d’eccezione che eleggerà la vincitrice di questa edizione. Conducono la serata di venerdì, i poliedrici Karma B, seguiti il sabato da Vibrissa e i suoi molteplici personaggi, accompagnata dall’implacabile Azzurro Fumo.
Importante per tutti è che ci sia una storia. Altrimenti non c’è burlesque ma solo streaptease.
