COLLECTIONS of the 3rd edition of the Rome Fashion Connection

Myriam Lo Prete
Fascinated by foreign cultures and peoples, it presented Reborn collection, inspired by Korean folk and a shooting of famous photographer Paolo Roversi. The icy light, the subjects aware of your body, the earthy colors mingle with the Eastern tradition to change in its identity. tissue contrasts to enhance or body wrap, overlapping geometry and lightness. Traditional embroidery (Clouds) and patchwork (Pojagi) are reinterpreted to give birth to a meeting between Eastern and Western culture.

Valentina Pagliacci
Stylist and mother, filed a soft and sensual collection made of folds and drapes in a mix of traditional oriental and urban rock. On the one hand there are the dresses inspired by the Arabian Nights, with the colors of the sand and sunsets, the other a dark Lolita inspired by Kubrick with geometry and darker colors, made more tenuous by the white skin. Finally the wedding dress in lace and satin, made it fun to cloth balloons.

Pinda Kida
Already seen at last year’s Fashion Connection, this year together with the Association Nibi presented Sharing Dreams, a collection consists of simple and highly portable items, but made of excellent fabrics and fine workmanship. The black and white are the coloripredominanti, opposite colors that meet in harmony, to symbolize the creation of a new world.

Harriet Lind
Animated by a deep passion for the transformation, which considers its engine, presented a collection inspired by the hidden beauty in objects and materials into disuse, giving them new life: so the zippers become jewelery and resume their broken clocks ticking in the form necklaces.

Emanuela Zanchetta (Ela)
His fashion is inspired by a style woven narrative, art and passion and is aimed at a female woman sending their emotions and their dreams. Leitmotif of all his creations, casual but always elegant, is a touch of red that is both a symbol of passion, joy and power, but also danger, while his hand-made drawings and paintings become dresses to wear to display .

Maria Cristina Vespaziani
Passionate about fashion since childhood, presented a capsule collection dedicated to a free and independent woman, who leaves his mark through his clothes. The materials used are precious and original shapes, in a mix of patterns and different fabrics, while a skilful tailoring and the use of jewelery in semi-precious stones compliment.

Lucrezia Rinaldi
She likes to combine tradition and innovation. Presented the Eye X Ray collection, inspired by the ability of x-rays to see further than the eyes, through matter and revealing the true essence of being human, with textures and details that recall the man’s internal structures, transparency of X-ray images and characteristic X-ray light

Marcella Milano
She loves to create beauty and arouse surprise. She presented the new collection Peace: precious fashion luxury bags inspired by the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang, for practical women, elegant or retro, always unique and special. An exclusive collection in which colors, lines and elegance come together in a perfect balance.
